<\/a>Nohoch\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Ante la representaci\u00f3n de secretarios de Estado, ministros y expertos del sector energ\u00e9tico de 35 pa\u00edses, el titular de Energ\u00eda, Pedro Joaqu\u00edn Coldwell, destac\u00f3 que la Reforma Energ\u00e9tica mexicana, en su vertiente el\u00e9ctrica, crea un mercado mayorista y apuesta categ\u00f3ricamente por el impulso a las energ\u00edas limpias.<\/p>\nEn el marco de la II Reuni\u00f3n Ministerial de la Alianza de Energ\u00eda y Clima de las Am\u00e9ricas (ECPA, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), que tuvo como sede la capital yucateca, el funcionario subray\u00f3 que \u201cnuestro compromiso para combatir el cambio clim\u00e1tico es claro. Nos hemos fijado como meta que para el 2018, uno de cada cuatro megawatts de electricidad provenga de fuentes renovables de energ\u00eda. Para 2024 nuestro objetivo es alcanzar el 35% de la generaci\u00f3n total, considerando otras fuentes de energ\u00eda limpias.<\/p>\n
\u201cHace unas semanas anunciamos que en el 2018 los grandes usuarios de electricidad deber\u00e1n cumplir con el requisito de que al menos cinco por ciento de su consumo total provenga de fuentes menos contaminantes. Para ello establecimos la figura de certificados de energ\u00edas limpias.<\/p>\n
Insisti\u00f3 en que M\u00e9xico se coloca tambi\u00e9n en esta tendencia. En 2014, la generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00edas renovables represent\u00f3 el 18% de la producci\u00f3n total, con 55 mil gigawatts.<\/p>\n
El encuentro mundial fue la antesala de la Sexta Reuni\u00f3n Ministerial de Energ\u00eda, con la asistencia de delegados de alto nivel de 22 pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n
