del\u00a0 corporativo Royal Caribbean Internacional, inici\u00f3 operaciones en el Muelle Internacional de Cozumel como <em>home port<\/em> para el embarque y desembarque de pasajeros de sus dos nuevas rutas: \u201cCosta Maya\u201d y \u201cCaribe Maya\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>La primera realiza un recorrido de cinco noches y visita Belice y Roat\u00e1n, en Honduras; Puerto Progreso, en Yucat\u00e1n, y Cozumel, Quintana Roo, en tanto que el segundo cubre siete noches e incluye la visita a Cozumel, Puerto Progreso, George Town, en Gran Caim\u00e1n; Belice y Roat\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p>Con base en la informaci\u00f3n que dio a conocer a trav\u00e9s de un comunicado, el viaje inaugural se realiz\u00f3\u00a0 en el crucero Monarch, embarcaci\u00f3n con capacidad para dos mil 766 pasajeros, con 12 cubiertas, restaurantes, bares, sal\u00f3n de espect\u00e1culos, casino, gimnasio, spa y salas de entretenimiento, entre otros servicios.<\/p>\n<p>Con base en las proyecciones de la empresa a cargo de los recorridos, en las primeras salidas se espera una ocupaci\u00f3n del 70% de turismo mexicano y 30% de extranjeros.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAdem\u00e1s, ser\u00e1 la oportunidad para los amantes de los cruceros, pues al partir de puertos mexicanos no se requerir\u00e1 visa estadounidense para realizar el viaje, ya que los destinos son pa\u00edses de Centroam\u00e9rica y el Caribe\u201d, indic\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Con estas rutas y los cruceros programados este a\u00f1o Cozumel romper\u00eda su r\u00e9cord de cruceristas, que en 2014 fue de 3.1 millones, lo que le permitir\u00e1 mantenerse
