{"id":10805,"date":"2015-09-08T12:23:17","date_gmt":"2015-09-08T17:23:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/innovatori.space\/lat21\/?p=10805"},"modified":"2015-09-08T12:23:17","modified_gmt":"2015-09-08T17:23:17","slug":"abren-museo-de-la-prehistoria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/l21.mx\/?p=10805","title":{"rendered":"Abren Museo de la Prehistoria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/l21.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Abren-Museo-de-la-Prehistoria.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10808\" title=\"Abren-Museo-de-la-Prehistoria\" src=\"http:\/\/l21.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Abren-Museo-de-la-Prehistoria.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"531\" height=\"281\" srcset=\"https:\/\/l21.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Abren-Museo-de-la-Prehistoria.jpg 531w, https:\/\/l21.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Abren-Museo-de-la-Prehistoria-300x159.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 531px) 100vw, 531px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Con una inversi\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de dos millones de pesos en su etapa inicial se inaugur\u00f3 el Museo de la Prehistoria en el Parque Dos Ojos de Tulum, que forma parte de un ambicioso proyecto cient\u00edfico al que se suman m\u00e1s de un centenar de familias mayas de la zona tur\u00edstica.<\/p>\n<p>El museo abri\u00f3 sus puertas al p\u00fablico luego de 10 a\u00f1os de investigaci\u00f3n a los descubrimientos y estudios de los restos de humanos y animales de la Era del Hielo en las cuevas y cenotes de la Pen\u00ednsula de Yucat\u00e1n, siendo el primer proyecto cient\u00edfico, museogr\u00e1fico y comunitario del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Eugenio Aceves, director del Museo de la Prehistoria, coment\u00f3 que \u201cse trata de un esfuerzo \u00fanico en el mundo de la ciencia porque en \u00e9l participan directamente los aut\u00e9nticos propietarios de los terrenos y nativos del lugar\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El sitio cuenta con recreaciones de entierros encontrados en las cuevas de hasta 12 mil a\u00f1os de antig\u00fcedad: esqueletos y esculturas de los gigantes de la Era del Hielo como Gonfoterios (antepasados de los elefantes modernos), armadillos gigantes, caballos, dientes de sable, perezosos gigantes y otras especies que integran el acervo. Todos ellos vivieron en la Riviera Maya hace m\u00e1s de 10 mil a\u00f1os, y todos se extinguieron.<\/p>\n<p>El museo se encuentra en un \u00e1rea de tres mil 600 m2 en los cuales se tiene la exhibici\u00f3n, sala de exposiciones temporales-auditorio, y pr\u00f3ximamente el jard\u00edn de la Era del Hielo y un laboratorio.<\/p>\n<p>Durante un recorrido, el director del Instituto de la Prehistoria en Am\u00e9rica, Jer\u00f3nimo Avil\u00e9s Olgu\u00edn, explic\u00f3 que en los 80 km que se han explorado en la zona de cuevas sumergidas del sistema Dos Ojos, considerado el tercero
