La reserva natural recibi\u00f3 el voto mayoritario de miles de profesionales y consumidores de la industria tur\u00edstica para ser considerado entre los ganadores. M\u00f3nica Olivares, gerente de Mercadotecnia de R\u00edo Secreto, fue quien recibi\u00f3 la presea durante el evento que tuvo como sede la ciudad de Bogot\u00e1, en Colombia. Establecidos en 1993, los World Travel Awards tienen como prop\u00f3sito elevar los est\u00e1ndares de los servicios que reciben los clientes. R\u00edo Secreto, al ser un parque dentro de una reserva natural, se enfoca en el turismo sustentable y fomenta la ciencia y la cultura de la protecci\u00f3n medioambiental. Se realizan diversos estudios en la reserva, entre ellos de paleoclimatolog\u00eda, y han instalado estaciones de fototrapeo para continuar el listado faun\u00edstico dentro del lugar. Los visitantes al hacer su recorrido aprenden sobre los mantos acu\u00edferos y su importancia a nivel local y global.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Por
