D<\/strong>olphin Discovery logr\u00f3 por primera vez la certificaci\u00f3n Alliance of Marine Mammal Parks and Aquariums (AMMPA por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) de sus instalaciones en Anguilla, en tanto que logr\u00f3 la renovaci\u00f3n del distintivo en los parques de mam\u00edferos marinos en Isla Mujeres y Grand Cayman.<\/p>\n

\u201cEn Grupo Dolphin Discovery estamos trabajando en tener cubiertos todos los puntos para solicitar la certificaci\u00f3n de los delfinarios que recientemente inauguramos y adquirimos: Akumal, Saint Kitts, Punta Cana y Jamaica. Ostentar esta certificaci\u00f3n muestra al mundo que nos ocupamos de la calidad de vida de nuestros mam\u00edferos marinos y del servicio de nuestros programas interactivos, en cualquiera de nuestros 23 h\u00e1bitats\u201d, declar\u00f3 Roberto S\u00e1nchez, director de Medicina Veterinaria de Grupo Dolphin Discovery.<\/p>\n

Para obtener el distintivo se deben cumplir con alrededor de 12 puntos que cubren aspectos tanto para el bienestar de los mam\u00edferos marinos como para la regulaci\u00f3n de la interacci\u00f3n con los humanos. Un delfinario nuevo debe tener, al menos, un a\u00f1o de operaci\u00f3n para certificarse y debe renovar este tr\u00e1mite cada cinco a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n
