BBVA Bancomer y la Secretar\u00eda de Turismo (Sectur) presentaron los resultados del primer an\u00e1lisis que ambos organismos realizaron de manera conjunta sobre la Transaccionalidad Bancaria en Destinos y Corredores Tur\u00edsticos, utilizando tecnolog\u00eda Big Data, en Pueblos M\u00e1gicos y algunos destinos de playa de M\u00e9xico, entre ellos los de Quintana Roo.<\/p>\n

De acuerdo con el documento, el estudio permiti\u00f3 conocer el comportamiento comercial de 86 millones de usuarios de tarjetas bancarias nacionales y extranjeras, de las cuales m\u00e1s de 20 millones son clientes de BBVA Bancomer, que transaccionaron en los 1.1 mill\u00f3n de comercios que aceptan pagos con tarjeta y de los cuales la instituci\u00f3n opera 370 mil terminales punto de venta (TPV).<\/p>\n

A trav\u00e9s de este convenio se analizaron cuatro destinos tur\u00edsticos de Quintana Roo: Canc\u00fan, Isla Mujeres, Playa del Carmen y Cozumel, con el objetivo de conocer los patrones de gasto del turista nacional e internacional, cumpliendo los requisitos en materia de privacidad.<\/p>\n

Hugo N\u00e1jera, director general de Desarrollo de Negocios de BBVA Bancomer, destac\u00f3 que \u201clos datos utilizados abarcan la actividad del cien por ciento de los usuarios nacionales de tarjetas de cr\u00e9dito y d\u00e9bito BBVA Bancomer durante 2014 y 2015, as\u00ed como la actividad de los usuarios internacionales para el segundo semestre de 2015\u201d.<\/p>\n

Las principales conclusiones obtenidas son que el 35% del gasto total del turista internacional se concentra en Playa del Carmen, mientras que el gasto del turista nacional se divide en dos destinos, Canc\u00fan y Playa del Carmen, con el 25% y 27%, respectivamente.<\/p>\n
