En el marco de la 44 Conferencia Internacional de Entrenamiento de Animales Marinos (IMATA, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), que se llev\u00f3 a cabo en San Diego, California,\u00a0 Jos\u00e9 Luis Dorantes y Brenda Casta\u00f1eda, especialistas en mam\u00edferos marinos de Dolphin Discovery, presentaron esta nueva t\u00e9cnica de condicionamiento. La empresa eligi\u00f3 10 ejemplares de diferentes especies entre la familia aletas de pie -Pinnipedia-, en distintos parques de Dolphin Discovery, como lobo marino de California, en Cozumel\/Puerto Aventuras; patag\u00f3nico en Puerto Vallarta; foca gris, vitulina y lobo africano, en Zoomarine, Italia. Dolphin Discovery pertenece a IMATA desde hace 11 a\u00f1os, tiempo en que se ha hecho merecedor de 17 premios de las cuatro categor\u00edas existentes, cuidados m\u00e9dicos, entrenamiento, investigaci\u00f3n y educaci\u00f3n. Asimismo, IMATA otorg\u00f3 la acreditaci\u00f3n de la asociaci\u00f3n a tres locaciones m\u00e1s de Dolphin Discovery, Saint Kitts, Grand Cayman y Akumal, mismas que se suman a los 15 parques marinos\u00a0 del grupo que cuentan con este documento del organismo. Dolphin Discovery ser\u00e1 sede de la pr\u00f3xima conferencia IMATA, del 1 al 6 de octubre de 2017 en la Riviera Maya, despu\u00e9s de nueve a\u00f1os de que se realiz\u00f3 la primera en territorio
