cifras hist\u00f3ricas.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Precis\u00f3 que de cada peso que se gasta en M\u00e9xico en el sector tur\u00edstico, entre 85 y 88 centavos lo gastan los turistas mexicanos.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201c<strong>Los objetivos que compartimos la Sectur y la Asociaci\u00f3n Metropolitana de Agencias de Viajes est\u00e1n ligados\u201d: Subsecretario.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El crecimiento del turismo en M\u00e9xico es resultado de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas id\u00f3neas establecidas por el Gobierno de la Rep\u00fablica y de la coordinaci\u00f3n entre los tres \u00f3rdenes de gobierno con un sector empresarial y laboral competitivo, cuya calidad en el servicio es mundialmente reconocido asegur\u00f3 Salvador S\u00e1nchez Estrada, subsecretario de Calidad y Regulaci\u00f3n de la Sectur.<\/p>\n<p>Durante una reuni\u00f3n con los integrantes de la \u201cAsociaci\u00f3n Metropolitana de Agencias de Viajes A.C.\u201d,\u00a0S\u00e1nchez Estrada se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el turismo dom\u00e9stico alcanz\u00f3 cifras hist\u00f3ricas, ya que de cada peso que se gasta en M\u00e9xico en este sector, entre 85 y 88 centavos lo gastan los turistas mexicanos.<\/p>\n<p>Ello se reflej\u00f3\u00a0en los primeros once meses de 2016, con el arribo al pa\u00eds de 31.1 millones de turistas internacionales, 8.8 por ciento m\u00e1s con respecto al mismo periodo de 2015, precis\u00f3 el subsecretario de Calidad y Regulaci\u00f3n de la Secretar\u00eda de Turismo (Sectur).<\/p>\n<p>Asegur\u00f3 que por este concepto se captaron 17 mil 446 millones de d\u00f3lares, diez por ciento m\u00e1s que en igual periodo del a\u00f1o anterior, posicionando a M\u00e9xico desde 2015 como el noveno pa\u00eds m\u00e1s visitado del mundo, lugar que se estima se podr\u00eda mantener e incluso superar.<\/p>\n<p>En este sentido, S\u00e1nchez Estrada destac\u00f3 que la \u201cAsociaci\u00f3n Metropolitana de Agencias de Viajes\u201d tiene un papel fundamental en la cadena de valor tur\u00edstica del pa\u00eds, ya que son quienes los acercan a la diversidad de experiencias en los principales destinos que M\u00e9xico ofrece al turismo nacional y extranjero.<\/p>\n<p>Subray\u00f3 que el sector de agencias de viajes se ha convertido en un importante aliado del Movimiento Nacional \u201cViajemos todos por M\u00e9xico\u201d (VTPM), iniciativa que ha generado oportunidades para que m\u00e1s mexicanos conozcan el pa\u00eds, a trav\u00e9s de las ventajas que ofrece la infraestructura tur\u00edstica en temporada baja, fortaleciendo al sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLos objetivos que compartimos Sectur y la Asociaci\u00f3n Metropolitana de Agencias de Viajes est\u00e1n ligados y alcanza un continuo crecimiento de la industria tur\u00edstica, siendo un sector cada vez de mayor exigencia por parte del turista\u201d, enfatiz\u00f3 el subsecretario.<\/p>\n<p>El funcionario de la Sectur hizo un reconocimiento a los integrantes de la Asociaci\u00f3n Metropolitana de Agencias de Viajes por su labor en la promoci\u00f3n de los destinos de M\u00e9xico, \u201ces muy satisfactorio estar con empresarios que participan activamente en acciones y programas que conllevan a resultados que generan m\u00e1s empleos y aportan al desarrollo de M\u00e9xico\u201d, concluy\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>A la reuni\u00f3n asistieron Edgar Sol\u00eds, presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n Metropolitana de Agencias de Viajes, A.C.; y los secretarios de Turismo de Puebla, Roberto Trauwitz Echeguren; de la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, Miguel Torruco, y de Guanajuato, Fernando Olivera, entre
