Como l\u00edderes de la industria de tiendas de autoservicio en Am\u00e9rica, con un total de m\u00e1s de siete mil 400, y m\u00e1s de dos millones de empleados en el mundo, con seis tiendas operando en el mercado de Quintana Roo a trav\u00e9s de sus marcas Walmart y Superama, ha puesto en operaciones dos programas para ahorros sustanciales, ambos ya en marcha en el Caribe mexicano.<\/p>\n<p>El primero con la reutilizaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 59 millones de litros de agua, el equivalente a 19 albercas ol\u00edmpicas, para evitar consumir agua de la red o de pipas, gracias a sus 18 plantas de tratamiento operando en Quintana Roo. Con esta acci\u00f3n ahorr\u00f3 un mill\u00f3n 343 mil 255 kwh de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica con respecto al a\u00f1o anterior, por medio de avances tecnol\u00f3gicos en refrigeraci\u00f3n, iluminaci\u00f3n y aire acondicionado. Adem\u00e1s recicl\u00f3 m\u00e1s de tres mil 269 toneladas de residuos (cart\u00f3n, papel, residuos org\u00e1nicos) lo que ayud\u00f3 a liberar 21 mil 389 m3 en el relleno sanitario del estado.<\/p>\n<p>El segundo a trav\u00e9s de la utilizaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda de fuentes renovables que representar\u00e1 una reducci\u00f3n en el consumo de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica de 20% comparada con 2010. El a\u00f1o pasado Walmart de M\u00e9xico y Centroam\u00e9rica ahorraron 20 millones de d\u00f3lares con sus programas combinados de eficiencia energ\u00e9tica y energ\u00edas renovables aplicados en sus 720 tiendas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ubicaci\u00f3n: Canc\u00fan Latitud 21 Walmart est\u00e1 decidido a afianzar su rentabilidad.
