operaciones, el hotel Four Points by Sheraton Canc\u00fan Centro logr\u00f3 posicionarse en la plaza no solo por la recepci\u00f3n de turismo de negocios y placer, sino tambi\u00e9n por el creciente nicho de turismo m\u00e9dico, que este a\u00f1o espera un repunte importante.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Downey, gerente general del inmueble, indic\u00f3 que durante este tiempo el hotel marc\u00f3 un punto en el centro de la ciudad, por lo que en 2017 esperan recibir unos 40 mil hu\u00e9spedes y alcanzar una ocupaci\u00f3n promedio anual cercana al 90%.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa marca sigue creciendo, somos ya 220 Four Points en el mundo y este a\u00f1o se instalar\u00e1n 65 m\u00e1s, lo que significa que el cliente sigue optando por ella a partir del costo-beneficio, sobre todo el turista de negocios, que es para el que se cre\u00f3\u201d, subray\u00f3 el directivo.<\/p>\n<p>Reconoci\u00f3 que el turismo m\u00e9dico a\u00fan representa un peque\u00f1o porcentaje del negocio, pero reporta constante crecimiento. \u201cCon el inicio del tercer a\u00f1o de operaciones hay planes para crecer m\u00e1s en este segmento, sobre todo por la conectividad que tenemos con el hospital Galenia\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>El inmueble de 112 llaves registr\u00f3 en 2016 una ocupaci\u00f3n promedio del 86%. \u201cNuestro mercado principal es una mezcla de mexicanos, norteamericanos y un poco de tripulaci\u00f3n, pero en el segmento de negocios el mercado nacional sigue siendo el de mayor presencia, seguido del de placer con un flujo m\u00e1s internacional, sobre todo porque la marca es
