Roo ampliar su oferta de productos\u00a0en beneficio de toda la pen\u00ednsula<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Con el anuncio del gobierno federal a trav\u00e9s de la Secretar\u00eda de Turismo (Sectur) de destinar 100 mdp para potenciar la actividad tur\u00edstica en el estado de Yucat\u00e1n se abre una ventana de oportunidades favorable en toda la pen\u00ednsula, especialmente para Quintana Roo. Para ello se requerir\u00e1 la conectividad como herramienta, al funcionar ambos estados como complementos, permitiendo as\u00ed ampliar la oferta tur\u00edstica regional.<\/p>\n<p>El Plan de Yucat\u00e1n, signado entre el gobierno federal y estatal en el Convenio de Coordinaci\u00f3n en Materia de Otorgamiento de Subsidios, comprende una serie de obras de infraestructura que ya se comprometieron para mejorar la conectividad terrestre, mar\u00edtima y a\u00e9rea, coment\u00f3 Salvador S\u00e1nchez, subsecretario de Planeaci\u00f3n de la Sectur.<\/p>\n<p>En este sentido, Fernando Garc\u00eda Zalvidea, presidente de Best Day, considera que Yucat\u00e1n complementa a Canc\u00fan y a la Riviera Maya como opci\u00f3n cultural al tener mayor historia y zonas arqueol\u00f3gicas. \u201cNo debemos verlos como competencia, nosotros hemos sido proveedores de turismo a ese estado y tenemos todo para seguirlo haciendo\u201d, explica.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte Gibr\u00e1n Chapur, director comercial de Grupo Palace Resorts, cree necesario para Yucat\u00e1n incrementar el n\u00famero de vuelos debido a que actualmente su oferta hotelera es mucho m\u00e1s grande que el mercado que recibe, situaci\u00f3n que los obliga a bajar tarifas para poder llenar los cuartos de hotel. \u201cLa clave entonces son los vuelos\u201d, argumenta.<\/p>\n<p>Bajo la perspectiva de los directores del Fideicomiso de Promoci\u00f3n de la Riviera Maya, Dar\u00edo Flota, y de la Oficina de Visitantes y Convenciones de Canc\u00fan (OVC), Jes\u00fas Almaguer, al conectarse ambos estados Quintana Roo no s\u00f3lo mantiene su lugar como puerta de entrada del turismo sino que enriquece su oferta con los atractivos que ofrece Yucat\u00e1n, y en un futuro\u00a0 la construcci\u00f3n del tren transpeninsular facilitar\u00e1 el traslado de los visitantes y\u00a0 har\u00e1 que extiendan su estancia con la intenci\u00f3n de conocer los alrededores.<\/p>\n<p>Quintana Roo ha solicitado al gobierno federal incluir en su Plan de Desarrollo la construcci\u00f3n de un puerto de altura en la costa oriental de la Pen\u00ednsula de Yucat\u00e1n, mismo que potenciar\u00e1 a ambos estados en el transporte de carga y pasajeros.
