El muelle, su segunda incursi\u00f3n en este tipo de obras despu\u00e9s de un primer proyecto sin \u00e9xito en Cozumel, se convirti\u00f3 en tan solo tres a\u00f1os en el segundo de mayor importancia en M\u00e9xico y el Caribe, con el arribo de 212 cruceros anuales. El proyecto Costa Maya, con un muelle con tres posiciones para el atraque de cruceros, tambi\u00e9n incluy\u00f3 un \u00e1rea de shopping, un \u00e1rea de zona federal y 168 hect\u00e1reas para desarrollar la ciudad de Majahual.<\/p>\n<p>Para diciembre de 2003, Isaac Hamui, al frente de la empresa Congresos y Convenciones de Canc\u00fan SA de CV, asume la operaci\u00f3n del Centro de Convenciones con 40% de participaci\u00f3n accionaria. A 10 a\u00f1os, el inmueble que alberga en promedio 400 eventos anualmente ha\u00a0 incorporado a su cat\u00e1logo de servicios un hotel de 180 habitaciones. Isaac Hamui actualmente participa en la industria inmobiliaria a trav\u00e9s de Villas Morelos, que ha desarrollado vivienda de inter\u00e9s social en Puerto Morelos, mientras que el puerto de Majahual ha tenido una disminuci\u00f3n en el arribo de cruceros; de 212 en 2003, a 150 a finales de 2012, muy por debajo de las 908 embarcaciones que llegan a Cozumel, y que lo hacen el primero del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/l21.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/grupo-costa-maya-a-una-decada.png\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter
