Selina, una nueva experiencia en hoteler\u00eda, llega a M\u00e9xico con un ambicioso plan de desarrollo que contempla la operaci\u00f3n de 25 hoteles entre 2017 y 2018 en varios destinos tur\u00edsticos del territorio nacional.<\/p>\n<p>Canc\u00fan, Isla Mujeres, Cozumel, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, M\u00e9rida, Zihuatanejo, San Miguel de Allende, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Puerto Vallarta y Ciudad de M\u00e9xico son algunas de las ciudades que incluye el proyecto, el cual en conjunto vislumbra la apertura de 100 hoteles en Latinoam\u00e9rica hacia el 2020, para despu\u00e9s continuar hacia Europa, Asia y Norteam\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con informaci\u00f3n que dio a conocer la cadena hotelera, en 2017\u00a0 pretende abrir 10 hoteles en M\u00e9xico, y llegar a 25 en 2018, lo que significar\u00eda traer alrededor de 300 mil viajeros al pa\u00eds para brindarles\u00a0 experiencias \u00fanicas en las que la educaci\u00f3n, sustentabilidad, comunidad, bienestar, dise\u00f1o y el arte son parte fundamental de su filosof\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>La mira est\u00e1 puesta en el Caribe mexicano, cuyos destinos liderados por Canc\u00fan son ejemplo de \u00e9xito tur\u00edstico no solo en M\u00e9xico sino en toda Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n<p>Los directivos de la firma ya est\u00e1n en busca de propiedades en este centro vacacional, las cuales obtienen a trav\u00e9s de alianzas y sociedades, para lograr la trasformaci\u00f3n de acuerdo a los par\u00e1metros del grupo.<\/p>\n<p>La idea comenz\u00f3 luego de que sus fundadores, Rafael Museri (CEO) y Daniel Rudasevski, llegaron a Latinoam\u00e9rica con la visi\u00f3n de construir un modelo de negocio que combinara la hospitalidad y los bienes ra\u00edces con un enfoque social y cultural.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de viajar por el mundo y hospedarse en m\u00e1s de 140 hostales identificaron una necesidad, y es as\u00ed como nace Selina, con un enfoque hacia la generaci\u00f3n de los llamados <em>millennials<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSelina ha resultado un proyecto tan atractivo que cuenta con inversionistas como Adam Neumann, fundador y CEO de WeWork, la empresa m\u00e1s exitosa de coworking valorada en 16.9 bdd, y Michael Gross, ex CEO de Morgans Hotels\u201d, explica la firma hotelera.<\/p>\n<p>La vocaci\u00f3n de la empresa es formar familias, la ideolog\u00eda de compartir y dar, adem\u00e1s de unir y solidificar una nueva generaci\u00f3n de viajeros, cuenta con cuatro locaciones en Panam\u00e1, seis en Costa Rica y dos en Colombia. \u201cEl dise\u00f1o de los hostales busca solventar las necesidades de las nuevas generaciones: conocer personas, explorar nuevos destinos y culturas, educar y educarse; crear una cultura sustentable, trabajo en equipo (<em>co-working<\/em>) desde cualquier parte del mundo y tener vidas plenas\u201d, indica.<\/p>\n<p>En el caso de uno de los hoteles en Panam\u00e1, el grupo se uni\u00f3 a Dekel, una de las empresas de bienes ra\u00edces m\u00e1s innovadoras y exitosas, enfocada en crear comunidades para personas de todas partes del mundo. Un caso exitoso es Casco Viejo en ese pa\u00eds, desarrollado en gran parte por Dekel.<\/p>\n<p>Los precios de los hoteles Selina var\u00edan, se puede rentar una cama desde 12 d\u00f3lares la noche hasta una suite de 200 d\u00f3lares. Cada locaci\u00f3n es diferente. Ninguna habitaci\u00f3n cuenta con televisi\u00f3n, la idea es salir de las habitaciones y convivir dentro de los espacios comunes que el hostal ofrece a sus hu\u00e9spedes, como bibliotecas, restaurantes, bares, \u00e1reas de juegos, fogatas, pel\u00edculas sobre la playa, entre otros.
