En respuesta al potencial de desarrollo econ\u00f3mico, industrial y tur\u00edstico de Yucat\u00e1n, Grupo Asur invirti\u00f3 60 millones de pesos en la construcci\u00f3n de la nueva Terminal de Aviaci\u00f3n Privada del Aeropuerto Internacional de M\u00e9rida, para atender la creciente llegada de aviones privados.<\/p>\n

Equipada con lo m\u00e1s moderno en sistemas de seguridad, atenci\u00f3n a los viajeros, adem\u00e1s de sala de juntas y computadoras para la planeaci\u00f3n de vuelos, las nuevas instalaciones se colocan al mismo nivel de las que opera el Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste (Asur) en las terminales de Canc\u00fan, Monterrey y Los Cabos.<\/p>\n

H\u00e9ctor Navarrete, director general de Asur, destac\u00f3 que el 35% de las 37 mil operaciones que registra al a\u00f1o el aeropuerto de M\u00e9rida son de vuelos privados.<\/p>\n

\u201cEs un edificio moderno y tiene servicios de confort, ya que tambi\u00e9n cuenta con una estancia de descanso para pilotos y sobrecargos, adem\u00e1s de que ah\u00ed se concentran las oficinas de Migraci\u00f3n, Aduanas, Polic\u00eda Federal y Sagarpa\u201d, explic\u00f3.<\/p>\n

El directivo mencion\u00f3 que con la nueva terminal, M\u00e9rida se perfila como una ciudad con servicios de clase mundial.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, \u00d3scar Carrillo Maldonado, administrador general del aeropuerto, precis\u00f3 que la terminal ejecutiva reporta en promedio 40 vuelos diarios de aviones privados procedentes de diferentes pa\u00edses, entre ellos Estados Unidos, y cerca de 60 aviones particulares tienen su base en este destino. \u201cLa aviaci\u00f3n privada aument\u00f3 de manera considerable, por lo que fue necesario modernizar las instalaciones\u201d, subray\u00f3.<\/p>\n
