El acontecimiento reunir\u00e1 a los m\u00e1ximos representantes de la industria de aerol\u00edneas en S\u00eddney, Australia, del 3 al 5 de junio de 2018.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cS\u00eddney es una elecci\u00f3n excelente como capital de la industria mundial de transporte a\u00e9reo en junio de 2018. Estoy seguro de que Qantas ser\u00e1 una excelente anfitriona, como ya lo fue en el a\u00f1o 2000. Australia, pionera en asuntos de aviaci\u00f3n, presume de una aviaci\u00f3n competitiva, una gesti\u00f3n eficaz del tr\u00e1fico a\u00e9reo y de su compromiso firme con la regulaci\u00f3n inteligente. Como resultado, Australia es un pa\u00eds conectado al mundo, que se beneficia del desarrollo econ\u00f3mico y social que proporciona una aviaci\u00f3n pr\u00f3spera. Estoy seguro de que tendremos un excelente comienzo dentro de un a\u00f1o\u201d, dijo Alexandre de Juniac, consejero delegado de la IATA.<\/p>\n<p>Las aerol\u00edneas miembro de la IATA saludaron la invitaci\u00f3n a Qantas como anfitri\u00f3n de la AGM en 2018, al cierre de la 73a AGM en Canc\u00fan, M\u00e9xico. Qantas es miembro fundador de la IATA y cuatro de sus consejeros delegados han presidido el Consejo de Gobierno de la Asociaci\u00f3n, entre ellos, Alan Joyce, consejero delegado de Qantas, presidente del Consejo de Gobierno entre 2012 y 13 y miembro del Consejo desde 2009.<\/p>\n<p>El pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o, la AGM se celebrar\u00e1 en el ICC Sydney. Ser\u00e1 la tercera vez que se celebre en Australia; anteriormente se celebr\u00f3 en 1961 y 2000, ambas en S\u00eddney.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abSer\u00e1 un placer dar la bienvenida a los l\u00edderes del mundo de la aviaci\u00f3n a Australia. Somos uno de los miembros fundadores de la Asociaci\u00f3n y nuestra historia de participaci\u00f3n se remonta a 1945\u00bb, dijo Alan Joyce, consejero delegado de Qantas Group.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abLa aviaci\u00f3n genera cientos de miles de empleos en Australia. Ubicada al lado del mayor centro de crecimiento de la aviaci\u00f3n mundial, Asia-Pac\u00edfico, Australia recibe millones de visitantes cada a\u00f1o. La AGM nos dar\u00e1 la oportunidad de mostrar la hospitalidad acogedora que caracteriza a Australia y debatir las prioridades de una industria en constante cambio por las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas, los nuevos mercados y las nuevas generaciones de viajeros\u00bb, dijo Joyce.<\/p>\n<p>La 73a AGM y la Cumbre Mundial del Transporte A\u00e9reo han reunido a 1.000 l\u00edderes de la aviaci\u00f3n, entre
