En el marco de la celebraci\u00f3n de la Semana Estatal de la Tortuga Marina 2017, la Secretar\u00eda de Ecolog\u00eda y Medio Ambiente realiza desde ayer y hasta el\u00a0<\/span>8 de mayo\u00a0<\/span>una serie de talleres para fomentar la preservaci\u00f3n y conservaci\u00f3n de esta singular especie en peligro de extinci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Alfredo Arellano Guillermo, titular de la Secretar\u00eda de Ecolog\u00eda y Medio Ambiente (Sema) informa que en la Reserva Estatal Santuario de la Tortuga Marina \u00a0Xcacel-Xcacelito el\u00a03 de mayo se realizara un evento protocolario de inicio de la temporada de anidaci\u00f3n 2017, en el que habr\u00e1 platicas \u00a0y talleres de sensibilizaci\u00f3n para el cuidado de los quelonios, din\u00e1micas y concursos alusivos al tema.<\/p>\n

Ese mismo d\u00ed\u00ada iniciar\u00e1n eventos en Isla Mujeres, Chetumal, Bacalar, Tulum, Kantunilkin, Canc\u00fan y Playa del Carmen. Este 2 de mayo la direcci\u00f3n de Ecolog\u00eda y Medio Ambiente, la de \u00a0Turismo y la CONANP en L\u00e1zaro C\u00e1rdenas impartir\u00e1n el taller sobre la importancia de las tortugas marinas en el \u00e1rea de Protecci\u00f3n de Flora y Fauna Yum Balam.<\/p>\n

Entre otras \u00a0actividades destacan la limpieza de playas organizado por el Comit\u00e9 de las Tortugas Marinas en Playa del Carmen; el taller Gesti\u00f3n Integral Participativa sobre Tortugas Marinas\u009d el 8 de mayo en Isla Mujeres. Dolphin Discovery Quintana Roo, del 1 al 8 de mayo tendr\u00e1 m\u00f3dulos educativos alusivos a las tortugas marinas en Isla Mujeres, Cozumel, Punta Maroma, Puerto Aventuras, Dreams, Akumal y Mahahual.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Durante la semana estatal de la tortuga marina, participar\u00e1n adem\u00e1s de la Secretar\u00eda de Ecolog\u00eda y Medio Ambiente, el Comit\u00e9 de Tortugas Marinas de Solidaridad, Amigos de Isla Contoy A.C, Ayuntamiento de Isla Mujeres, Ayuntamiento de Benito Ju\u00e1rez, El\u00a0 Colegio de la Frontera Sur, Dolphin Discovery y personal de Tortugranja.<\/p>\n
