Grupo Posadas reafirma su confianza en el Caribe mexicano, donde sigue anidando millonarias inversiones para elevar la calidad de sus productos hoteleros. En esta ocasi\u00f3n la cadena capitaneada por Pablo Azc\u00e1rraga apuesta por la isla de Cozumel al destinar la nada despreciable cifra de 16 mdd a la reconceptualizaci\u00f3n de su predio\u00a0 .<\/p>\n

La metamorfosis ser\u00e1 a tal grado que el hotel dej\u00f3 de operar en mayo pasado y no reingresar\u00e1 al mercado hasta febrero de 2014.<\/p>\n

Se trata de un proyecto ambicioso que redise\u00f1ar\u00e1 todas las \u00e1reas p\u00fablicas del inmueble, as\u00ed como las habitaciones, para crear un entorno m\u00e1s innovador, confortable y hospitalario. En 2012 Grupo Posadas ingres\u00f3 el Fiesta Americana Cozumel al segmento de Club Vacacional como estrategia de crecimiento.<\/p>\n

Otro sector en el que Posadas ratifica su liderazgo en el Caribe es el de Congresos y Convenciones, con crecimiento de 25% durante el 2012 y de 20% en lo que va de 2013, encabezado por su tradicional Fiesta Americana Coral Beach, uno de los pocos que sobreviven al Plan Europeo, equipado de infraestructura con capacidad para manejar eventos de hasta mil 500 personas.<\/p>\n
