John Mullen, fundador y hasta hace unos meses CEO del grupo Apple Leisure Group, fue distinguido por la Universidad An\u00e1huac M\u00e9xico Norte al otorgarle la \u201cMedalla An\u00e1huac en Turismo 2013\u201d, por su inigualable labor a favor del turismo en M\u00e9xico durante las \u00faltimas cuatro d\u00e9cadas, en las que su empresa gener\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 25 millones de visitantes a los principales destinos del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

Durante la ceremonia, presidida por el rector Jes\u00fas Quirce Andr\u00e9s y el director de la Escuela de Turismo, Francisco Madrid, las autoridades acad\u00e9micas destacaron la importante trayectoria profesional de John Mullen como ejemplo de liderazgo de acci\u00f3n positiva en favor del turismo. Apple Leisure Group est\u00e1 conformada por el tour operador m\u00e1s grande del mundo para M\u00e9xico, Apple Vacations, AMStar DMC y la compa\u00f1\u00eda hotelera AMResorts. Desde inicios del 2013 Alejandro Zozaya, cofundador de AMResorts, es el nuevo CEO de Apple Leisure Group en sustituci\u00f3n de John Mullen.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
