El pasado fin de semana se alcanz\u00f3 la cifra de 95 puntos porcentuales en habitaciones ocupadas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHemos detectado que <strong>Florida<\/strong>, <strong>Maryland<\/strong>,<strong> Illinois<\/strong> y<strong> Texas<\/strong>, en la Uni\u00f3n Americana, as\u00ed como la <strong>Ciudad de M\u00e9xico<\/strong>, <strong>Puebla<\/strong> y <strong>Nuevo Le\u00f3n<\/strong>, en nuestro pa\u00eds, son los estados que m\u00e1s turistas env\u00edan a este Pueblo con Encanto\u201d, coment\u00f3 la presidenta municipal Laura Fern\u00e1ndez.<\/p>\n<p>Explic\u00f3 que de acuerdo con el estudio \u201cPerfil y comportamiento del turista <strong>Puerto Morelos<\/strong>\u201d, de la Secretar\u00eda estatal de Turismo (Sedetur), correspondiente al trimestre julio-septiembre 2017, estos datos permitir\u00e1n establecer nuevas estrategias de promoci\u00f3n del destino, para atraer un mayor n\u00famero de visitantes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVamos a aprovechar los mercados que nos generan el mayor n\u00famero de visitantes, pero tambi\u00e9n queremos explorar y fortalecer otros que tienen conexi\u00f3n con Canc\u00fan y que nos significar\u00edan mayor ocupaci\u00f3n hotelera y derrama econ\u00f3mica. Por ejemplo, Jalisco nos gener\u00f3 en ese trimestre el 6.2 por ciento de los visitantes nacionales. Sabemos de la importancia y potencial de ese mercado, por eso reforzaremos las campa\u00f1as de promoci\u00f3n para posicionarnos como marca\u201d, indic\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Agreg\u00f3 que Puerto Morelos es un rinc\u00f3n de M\u00e9xico en el Caribe que enamora a sus visitantes, de ah\u00ed que 39.4% de quienes llegaron en el tercer trimestre del a\u00f1o, eran turistas repetitivos, mientras que\u00a0 41.5% lo hizo por recomendaci\u00f3n de amigos y familiares.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLas bellezas naturales y las riquezas culturales, hist\u00f3ricas y gastron\u00f3micas de Puerto Morelos, Central Vallarta y Leona Vicario, nos permiten tener una afluencia constante de turismo, que sigue siendo el motor de nuestra econom\u00eda\u201d, refiri\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, H\u00e9ctor Tamayo S\u00e1nchez, director de Turismo, inform\u00f3 que s\u00f3lo el fin de semana hubo un repunte casi hist\u00f3rico en el destino, al alcanzar la ocupaci\u00f3n hotelera 95% siete mil cuartos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Puerto Morelos.
