Puerto Morelos. <\/strong>Autoridades municipales de Puerto Morelos formalizaron la solicitud ante la Secretar\u00eda de Turismo (Sectur) federal, para convertirse en un nuevo Pueblo M\u00e1gico, al cumplir con todos los atributos requeridos en el programa.<\/p>\n

\u201cPuerto Morelos guarda una gran riqueza cultural, hist\u00f3rica y natural digna de merecer el reconocimiento de Pueblo M\u00e1gico. Nuestro destino es una alternativa fresca y diferente, capaz de cautivar a los m\u00e1s exigentes mercados de turismo nacional e internacional\u201d, coment\u00f3 la presidenta municipal Laura Fern\u00e1ndez.<\/p>\n

En este sentido, destac\u00f3 la importancia de alcanzar esta categor\u00eda, ya que permitir\u00e1 a Puerto Morelos tener acceso a recursos extraordinarios para infraestructura por parte de diversas dependencias del Gobierno de la Rep\u00fablica, como la misma Sectur y la Secretar\u00eda de Desarrollo Agrario, Territorial y Urbano (Sedatu), as\u00ed como para definir una nueva estrategia de promoci\u00f3n a nivel nacional e internacional.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl motor de nuestra econom\u00eda sigue siendo el turismo, por eso debemos fortalecer esta actividad en todas sus ramas\u201d, agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Acutalmente M\u00e9xico cuenta con una lista de 111 Pueblos M\u00e1gicos, tres de ellos localizados en Quintana Roo (Bacalar, Tulum e Isla Mujeres).<\/p>\n

\u201cQueremos sumarnos a esa lista como parte del reconocimiento que merece una poblaci\u00f3n trabajadora, que ama a su tierra y que conserva sus tradiciones. Alcanzar el nombramiento permitir\u00e1 mejorar la calidad de vida de la gente al potenciarnos como oferta tur\u00edstica de Quintana Roo y M\u00e9xico\u201d, refiri\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Laura Fern\u00e1ndez indic\u00f3 que Puerto Morelos cuenta con el aval de la Secretar\u00eda estatal de Turismo (Sedetur), que reconoce al destino como un lugar con todos los atributos necesarios para poder alcanzar la categor\u00eda de Pueblo M\u00e1gico de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n

\u201cPara nosotros es muy importante contar con el aval del Gobierno del Estado en la b\u00fasqueda de este nombramiento que traer\u00eda grandes beneficios no s\u00f3lo a Puerto Morelos, sino a todo Quintana Roo. El trabajar en equipo siempre nos traer\u00e1 grandes resultados, por eso mantendremos esa sinergia con el gobernador Carlos Joaqu\u00edn Gonz\u00e1lez para mejorar la calidad de vida de la gente\u201d, indic\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, H\u00e9ctor Tamayo S\u00e1nchez, director de Turismo de Puerto Morelos, inform\u00f3 que con el ingreso de la solicitud ante la Sectur, comienza ahora el proceso de calificaci\u00f3n a los nuevos aspirantes de Pueblos M\u00e1gicos, mismo que concluir\u00e1 el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n
