La oferta de veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos <\/b>creci\u00f3 de 3 a 7 modelos durante los \u00faltimos dos a\u00f1os en M\u00e9xico<\/b>, lo que no se reflej\u00f3 en un aumento de la misma proporci\u00f3n en su participaci\u00f3n dentro del mercado total automotor en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

Informaci\u00f3n de la Asociaci\u00f3n Mexicana de la Industria Automotriz (AMIA<\/b>) muestra que en los primeros 9 meses del 2017 se comercializaron 197 unidades <\/b>-ciento por ciento el\u00e9ctricas-, apenas 4 por ciento m\u00e1s que lo reportado en igual lapso de un a\u00f1o antes<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, si se compara con el total de coches vendidos en el pa\u00eds, la penetraci\u00f3n de ese segmento es de apenas 0.02 por ciento<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Guillermo Rosales, director general adjunto de la Asociaci\u00f3n Mexicana de Distribuidores de Automotores (AMDA), indic\u00f3 que esto se debe a que esa tecnolog\u00eda sigue siendo muy cara, a pesar de que llegaron veh\u00edculos con precios m\u00e1s accesibles.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl elevado precio de estos autos es una desventaja frente a sus similares de motor de gasolina, aunque en el largo plazo sean m\u00e1s redituables con base en la relaci\u00f3n costo-beneficio. Esperemos que conforme avance la tecnolog\u00eda se reduzca el precio\u201d, coment\u00f3 el ejecutivo en entrevista reciente.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n consider\u00f3 que la falta de infraestructura es un freno para este tipo de autos, pues no en todo el pa\u00eds se pueden encontrar cargadores para veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos<\/b>.<\/p>\n

\u201cA\u00fan falta infraestructura <\/b>por desarrollar, por lo que en algunas ciudades es in\u00fatil tener un auto el\u00e9ctrico\u201d, destac\u00f3 por su parte Jorge Vallejo, director de Relaciones Gubernamentales y Cero Emisiones de Nissan Mexicana.<\/p>\n

En tanto que Alexander Wehr, director general de BMW M\u00e9xico, dijo en entrevista reciente que buscan ofrecer en estos momentos autos de mayor calidad, pues a\u00fan no se puede competir en precio.<\/p>\n

\u201cNosotros siempre hemos dicho que el liderazgo (en este mercado) no es por volumen, sino por eficiencia y sustentabilidad. Queremos fortalecer nuestra posici\u00f3n en el mercado premium\u201d, asever\u00f3 el directivo de la automotriz.<\/p>\n

Entre los modelos disponibles en M\u00e9xico <\/b>est\u00e1n el Renault Twizy, Nissan Leaf, Zacua M2, BMW i3, Chevrolet Bolt EV, Tesla Model S y Model X, veh\u00edculos con precios que van desde los 317 mil 700 hasta un mill\u00f3n 600 mil pesos.
