Adem\u00e1s, Catalu\u00f1a ha recibido una Menci\u00f3n especial de destinos. El jurado ha estado compuesto por reconocidos profesionales del sector tur\u00edstico.<\/p>\n<p>El primer Premio de Turismo Responsable ha sido convocado por la Fundaci\u00f3n InterMundial, en colaboraci\u00f3n con FITUR y el Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico Hotelero -ITH-, con el objetivo de reconocer la implicaci\u00f3n de las empresas tur\u00edsticas que trabajan por el desarrollo y activaci\u00f3n de un turismo que abogue por unas pr\u00e1cticas responsables con el medioambiente, la econom\u00eda y la sociedad local. Un turismo responsable que revierte sus beneficios en la sociedad, potencia el respeto al medioambiente y favorece un crecimiento econ\u00f3mico sostenible. En el concurso han participado empresas expositoras en FITUR 2018.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Turismo responsable y sostenible<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Previamente a la entrega de premios se ha celebrado una mesa redonda bajo el lema \u201cun turismo responsable es un turismo sostenible\u201d, en la que han participado Manuel L\u00f3pez, CEO de Intermundial Seguros; Francisco Javier del Nogal, director general de Tourism &amp; Law; Mariano L\u00f3pez, director de la revista Viajar; Jos\u00e9 \u00c1ngel Preciados, director general de Ilunion Hoteles; Coralia Pino, responsable de Sostenibilidad y Eficiencia Energ\u00e9tica del ITH; Iosu L\u00f3pez, fundador de Mochileros TV; y Pablo Pascual, director general de Sociedad Geogr\u00e1fica de las Indias.<\/p>\n<p>Entre las distintas intervenciones, Francisco Javier del Nogal ha destacado la importancia de que \u201cel viajero sea responsable cuando se desplaza y de que exija que las empresas lo sean tambi\u00e9n\u201d. Jos\u00e9 \u00c1ngel Preciados ha se\u00f1alado el objetivo de la compa\u00f1\u00eda que dirige de \u201crealizar un trabajo en servicio de la sociedad\u201d y destac\u00f3 las premisas de \u201csostenibilidad\u201d que rigen sus hoteles. Y Pablo Pascual ha resaltado la importancia de un turismo \u201cresponsable y sostenible\u201d y ha explicado la actuaci\u00f3n de Sociedad Geogr\u00e1fica de las Indias, touroperador especializado en
