IFEMA participa en la consultor\u00eda estrat\u00e9gica y de negocio, junto a la empresa mexicana Actidea, en Los Cabos y La Paz <\/strong><\/p>\n

Se ha presentado dentro de la Feria Internacional de Turismo, FITUR de Madrid<\/strong>, los centros de convenciones de Los Cabos y la Paz<\/strong>, situados en Baja California Sur, y que entrar\u00e1n en funcionamiento a partir del pr\u00f3ximo 19 de marzo. Ambos centros de convenciones ser\u00e1n operados por Actidea<\/strong>, con la colaboraci\u00f3n de IFEMA en la consultor\u00eda y asistencia estrat\u00e9gica y de negocio, y como operador internacional para la captaci\u00f3n de eventos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

La presentaci\u00f3n corri\u00f3 a cargo del Director de Expansi\u00f3n Internacional de IFEMA, Santiago Quiroga; por parte de Actidea, el Presidente del Consejo Ejecutivo del Internacional Convention Centers Bajasur, Jos\u00e9 Miguel Romero Fern\u00e1ndez, y el Secretario de la Secretar\u00eda de Turismo, Econom\u00eda y Sustenibilidad del Estado de Baja California Sur, Genaro Ruiz.<\/p>\n

IFEMA, en este nuevo proyecto internacional , ha participado en\u00a0 el desarrollo del plan estrat\u00e9gico y de negocio de ambos centros,\u00a0 y ha aportado su experiencia y asesoramiento para la puesta en marcha de estos espacios.\u00a0 Adem\u00e1s, IFEMA ha\u00a0 llevado a cabo\u00a0 la asesor\u00eda t\u00e9cnica de adecuaci\u00f3n del recinto y de dotaci\u00f3n de servicios; la definici\u00f3n de la empresa gestora;\u00a0 los procesos de formaci\u00f3n, o la asesor\u00eda global de negocio, adem\u00e1s de operar como agente internacional para la captaci\u00f3n de eventos. Una tarea, esta \u00faltima, en la que se implicar\u00e1 tambi\u00e9n la red de delegaciones que IFEMA tiene repartida por todo el mundo.<\/p>\n

Por parte de IFEMA, su Director de Expansi\u00f3n Internacional, Santiago Quiroga abri\u00f3 el turno de intervenciones, recapitulando sobre c\u00f3mo se alumbr\u00f3 el proyecto, en el que IFEMA vio desde el principio un gran potencial. IFEMA aporta su experiencia en la organizaci\u00f3n de ferias y eventos de todo tipo, en unas instalaciones magn\u00edficas y un entorno privilegiado, continuando as\u00ed uno de los ejes estrat\u00e9gicos del negocio de dicha instituci\u00f3n, que pasa por su creciente proyecci\u00f3n internacional y, en especial, en el \u00e1rea iberoamericana.<\/p>\n

Por su parte, Jos\u00e9 Miguel Fern\u00e1ndez Romero, Presidente del Consejo Ejecutivo del Internacional Convention Centers Bajasur, describi\u00f3 las instalaciones de los dos centros de convenciones. El Centro de Convenciones de La Paz, construido en 2014,\u00a0 dispone de un espacio de 3.000 m2, capaz de albergar a 3.600 personas, adem\u00e1s de otras \u00e1reas\u00a0 para convenciones, exposiciones y festivales; mientras que el Centro Internacional de Convenciones Los Cabos, inaugurado en 2012 para recibir la Cumbre del G20, cuenta con una superficie total cubierta de 12.840 m2,\u00a0 un espacio principal de 5.400 m2 y capacidad para albergar a 6.500 personas.<\/p>\n

Concluy\u00f3 la presentaci\u00f3n, con la intervenci\u00f3n del Secretario de la Secretar\u00eda de Turismo, Econom\u00eda y Sustenibilidad del Estado de Baja California Sur, Genaro Ruiz, quien despu\u00e9s de resaltar la magn\u00edfica colaboraci\u00f3n entre su Administraci\u00f3n, IFEMA y Actidea, pas\u00f3 a desglosar el potencial tur\u00edstico de ese Estado mexicano, que con estas instalaciones quiere reforzar su orientaci\u00f3n hacia el turismo de reuniones, aprovechando precisamente la experiencia de IFEMA en este terreno. Un Estado que a su infraestructura hotelera y de transportes de gran calidad, con una excelente conectividad sobre todo con los Estados Unidos, suma otros atractivos, como un entorno natural envidiable (incluido el avistamiento de ballenas azules y jorobadas en el Mar de Cort\u00e9s), el car\u00e1cter acogedor de sus gentes, un buen clima, 16 campos de golf\u2026 Todo ello contribuye a que el a\u00f1o pasado se recibieran 3 millones de turistas, y a que destacadas marcas hoteleras espa\u00f1olas hayan puesto sus ojos en ese destino, como Riu, Barcel\u00f3, Mel\u00eda \u2013que ya est\u00e1n operando all\u00ed-, o Iberostar, que lo har\u00e1 pronto.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
