El Caribe mexicano fue sede de la quinta edici\u00f3n del MarketHub, por ser uno de los destinos m\u00e1s populares de Hotelbeds, especialmente para clientes de Brasil, Estados Unidos, Argentina, Colombia, Reino Unido y Espa\u00f1a. En esta edici\u00f3n se congregaron m\u00e1s de 600 altos ejecutivos de la industria del turismo con m\u00e1s de 90 sponsors, incluyendo Posadas y Meli\u00e1 Hotels International. Marta Alvarez, subdirectora operativa de Hotelbeds, explic\u00f3 que la compa\u00f1\u00eda vende en promedio 30 noches de habitaci\u00f3n por minuto, con lo que aumentar\u00e1 su cartera de clientes en la regi\u00f3n en un 24% en 2013, y espera un crecimiento de 20% para la regi\u00f3n de las Am\u00e9ricas de aqu\u00ed a 2015. En tanto Christian Kremers, vicepresidente de Ventas y Distribuci\u00f3n de Hotelbeds Am\u00e9ricas, coment\u00f3 que \u201ceste evento es una oportunidad fant\u00e1stica para que nuestros socios claves conozcan a los equipos de Hotelbeds en los destinos de todo el mundo, hagan contactos con profesionales de la industria que comparten sus ideas y con aquellos que toman las decisiones\u201d. El Market Hub tuvo como conferencistas invitados a Juan Vela, vicepresidente del hotel Grand Velas; Gibr\u00e1n Chapur, director comercial de Palace Resorts; Jurgen Stutz, vicepresidente de ventas de Meli\u00e1 Hotels International, entre otros.<\/p>\n
