El gobernador del estado, Roberto Borge, inaugur\u00f3 en este polo tur\u00edstico la segunda Reuni\u00f3n de Embajadores de la Uni\u00f3n Europea y la delegaci\u00f3n europea en la Riviera Maya. Entre los temas que se abordaron en este encuentro, que reuni\u00f3 a 12 representantes de la diplomacia europea, estuvieron el reforzamiento de la promoci\u00f3n tur\u00edstica de M\u00e9xico en el Viejo Continente y la generaci\u00f3n de mayores conexiones entre los pa\u00edses de la UE con los destinos de Quintana Roo. Marie Anne Coninsx, embajadora extraordinaria y plenipotenciaria de la delegaci\u00f3n europea, Edmund Duckwitz, embajador de la Rep\u00fablica Federal de Alemania, fueron algunas de las personalidades que participaron en este evento privado. Asimismo estuvieron presentes Rodolfo L\u00f3pez Negrete, director general del CPTM; el ministro Fernando Espinoza Olivera, director general adjunto para la UE de la Secretar\u00eda de Relaciones Exteriores; Jos\u00e9 Salvador S\u00e1nchez, subsecretario de Planeaci\u00f3n Tur\u00edstica de la Sectur, en representaci\u00f3n de la secretaria de Turismo, Claudia Ruiz Massieu, as\u00ed como c\u00f3nsules honorarios y representantes del sector tur\u00edstico de los tres \u00f3rdenes de gobierno.<\/p>\n
