La empresa, propiedad de <strong>Alphabet<\/strong>, ya ha conseguido la primera licencia comercial de Estados Unidos para<strong> lanzar un servicio de coches sin conductores humanos.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Waymo ya lanz\u00f3 un programa de pruebas en Phoenix a finales de 2017<\/p>\n<p>Waymo ha obtenido el permiso del Departamento de Transportes de Arizona para operar como una Transportation Network Company (empresa de transportes). Con esta licencia la flota de coches de Waymo podr\u00e1 recoger y transportar pasajeros en ese estado a trav\u00e9s de una aplicaci\u00f3n o p\u00e1gina web. \u00bfOtras empresas que operan con la misma licencia? Uber o Lyft.<\/p>\n<p>A finales de 2017 Waymo lanz\u00f3 un programa de early riders para comenzar a testear la posibilidad de lanzar un servicio de este tipo. \u201cMientras seguimos haciendo pruebas con nuestros veh\u00edculos en Phoenix, estamos dando los pasos necesarios para lanzar un servicio de transporte este a\u00f1o\u201d, afirma un representante de la compa\u00f1\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Uber y Lyft operan con la misma licencia que Waymo ha obtenido<\/p>\n<p>Waymo es una empresa pionera en veh\u00edculos aut\u00f3nomos, pero rivales como Uber o General Motors est\u00e1n cogiendo velocidad. Una red de veh\u00edculos aut\u00f3nomos alcanzar\u00eda potencialmente a m\u00e1s clientes que un servicio de coches con conductores, que invierte m\u00e1s tiempo circulando por la ciudad para
