1162w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0La Procuradur\u00eda Federal de Protecci\u00f3n al Ambiente (Profepa) clausur\u00f3, de manera total temporal, obras y actividades del proyecto Muelle Casa Osio, localizado en Cozumel, por carecer de autorizaci\u00f3n en materia de impacto ambiental.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Personal de inspecci\u00f3n se constituy\u00f3 en la Zona Federal Mar\u00edtimo Terrestre \u00a0(Zofemat) y zona marina, localizadas a la altura del km 12+957 de la carretera costera sur, en la isla de Cozumel, Quintana Roo, para constatar que las obras y actividades que se desarrollan en dichos sitios, se realizan en apego a la normatividad ambiental aplicable.<\/p>\n<p>Durante la visita de inspecci\u00f3n se observ\u00f3 en la Zofemat una superficie rellenada y compactada con arena y material conocido como sascab (utilizado en mezclas para la construcci\u00f3n), con lo que se modific\u00f3 la morfolog\u00eda original de esta superficie que era rocosa.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, se detect\u00f3 un muro a nivel de piso, que funge como barrera y l\u00edmite entre la zona rocosa y el \u00e1rea rellenada y compactada; en su interior, se encontraron ejemplares juveniles de Palma chit (<em>Thrinax radiata<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Los inspectores actuantes solicitaron al visitado exhibiera la autorizaci\u00f3n en materia de impacto ambiental vigente, otorgada por la Secretar\u00eda de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales, autoridad federal normativa competente para determinar, en su caso, la viabilidad ambiental \u00a0de las obras y actividades inspeccionadas; sin que dicho documento fuera presentado en ese momento.<\/p>\n<p>En virtud de lo anterior, se impuso la medida de seguridad consistente en la clausura total temporal, por lo que se coloc\u00f3 un sello con la leyenda Clausurado, el cual fue fijado en un lugar visible en el predio y construcci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Con estas acciones, la Profepa fortalece su compromiso de garantizar la conservaci\u00f3n, protecci\u00f3n y el cuidado del medio ambiente, mediante las actividades de inspecci\u00f3n y vigilancia, para verificar el cumplimiento de la normatividad ambiental aplicable de los desarrollos inmobiliarios que se realizan en ecosistemas
