En cuanto a <em><strong>rutas internacionales<\/strong><\/em> la ruta Toronto-Canc\u00fan logr\u00f3 un alza de 14.5% en volumen de pasajeros, Chicago-Canc\u00fan 1.9% y Houston-Canc\u00fan 3.8%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agreg\u00f3 que en el primer cuatrimestre de 2018, la Direcci\u00f3n General de Aeron\u00e1utica Civil (DGAC) de la Secretar\u00eda de Comunicaciones y Transportes (SCT) report\u00f3 un incremento de 2.9% en el volumen de pasajeros internacionales y de 13% en el volumen de pasajeros nacionales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em><strong>Estados Unidos<\/strong><\/em>, <em><strong>Canad\u00e1<\/strong><\/em>, <em><strong>Argentina<\/strong><\/em>, <em><strong>Reino Unido<\/strong><\/em> y Brasil contin\u00faan siendo los principales mercados de recepci\u00f3n de turistas internacionales, lo que hoy por hoy mantiene el liderazgo de materia tur\u00edstica de Quintana Roo y los primeros lugares nacionales en la <strong><em>generaci\u00f3n de empleos<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En cuanto al mercado estadounidense, el total de pasajeros provenientes de Chicago se increment\u00f3 0.06% y de Houston 2.94%. En tanto, los provenientes de Nueva York y Atlanta reportaron una disminuci\u00f3n de 2.5% respectivamente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El Estado de Quintana Roo cuenta con una <em><strong>infraestructura tur\u00edstica<\/strong><\/em> \u00fanica a nivel mundial de mil 067 hoteles y 100 mil 986 cuartos de hotel en toda la entidad, grandes parques tem\u00e1ticos, diversas opciones de entretenimiento, as\u00ed como 13 zonas arqueol\u00f3gicas abiertas al p\u00fablico, entre otros atractivos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El gran pendiente y el mayor compromiso \u2013reconoci\u00f3 la secretaria de Turismo- contin\u00faa siendo acortar la brecha de desigualdad entre el norte y el sur de Quintana Roo para que todos los beneficios de esta actividad econ\u00f3mica lleguen a las comunidades m\u00e1s necesitadas. El turismo \u2013a\u00f1adi\u00f3- tiene que ayudar a elevar la calidad de vida de la gente y mejorar su \u00edndice de desarrollo\u00a0 humano.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight:
