American Humane<\/strong>, organismo internacional que vela por el bienestar y seguridad de los animales en zool\u00f3gicos, acuarios y delfinarios, otorg\u00f3 a Dolphin Discovery<\/strong> la certificaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de su Programa de Conservaci\u00f3n, por las excelentes condiciones de los mam\u00edferos marinos que est\u00e1n a su cargo. Las instalaciones reconocidas son: Isla Mujeres, Playa del Carmen, Puerto Aventuras, Dreams, Cozumel y Akumal<\/strong>. El Programa de Conservaci\u00f3n de American Humane es el primero dedicado a apoyar el trato humano hacia los animales que viven en zool\u00f3gicos<\/strong>, acuarios<\/strong> y centros de conservaci\u00f3n<\/strong> en todo el mundo para que cumplan con los rigurosos est\u00e1ndares basados en evidencia de su bienestar integral. Fue desarrollado por un Comit\u00e9 Independiente de Asesoramiento Cient\u00edfico conformado por l\u00edderes renombrados a nivel mundial en los campos de la ciencia, comportamiento, \u00e9tica y conservaci\u00f3n animal. Roberto S\u00e1nchez, director de m\u00e9dicos veterinarios de Dolphin Discovery, dijo que la certificaci\u00f3n otorgada por American Humane es un gran paso, ya que fueron evaluados por t\u00e9cnicos expertos desde el punto de vista humanitario, quienes comprobaron total ausencia de maltrato o sufrimiento animal, a la vez que constataron que la gran relaci\u00f3n y amor entre los especialistas en mam\u00edferos marinos y los animales es algo muy importante en Dolphin Discovery. \u201dNuestra prioridad es y siempre ser\u00e1 estar comprometidos con el bienestar de los mam\u00edferos marinos que viven en nuestros h\u00e1bitats\u201d.
