En el segundo trimestre de 2018 M\u00e9xico<\/strong> ha sufrido una contracci\u00f3n del 3,2% en la ocupaci\u00f3n hotelera, respecto al per\u00edodo abril-junio de 2017 y, seg\u00fan los analistas de STR<\/strong>, esa reducci\u00f3n puede estar motivada por las alertas de viajes <\/strong>emitidas por el gobierno de Estados Unidos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

La ocupaci\u00f3n de todo el pa\u00eds cerr\u00f3 en 63,5%<\/strong>, la tarifa media diaria (ADR<\/strong>) tuvo un incremento del 1,3% llegando a los 2,260 pesos, mientras que los ingresos por habitaci\u00f3n disponible \u00a0cayeron 1,9% (1,436 pesos).<\/p>\n

Los analistas de STR se\u00f1alan que el segundo trimestre del 2017 \u201cfue el m\u00e1s s\u00f3lido registrado en cuanto a demanda y ocupaci\u00f3n<\/strong>\u201d, lo cual dificulta la comparaci\u00f3n pero agregan que \u201cen los \u00faltimos meses ha habido indicios de que los consejos de viaje emitidos por los EU y las preocupaciones sobre el crimen han alcanzado a la industria hotelera<\/strong> en ciertas partes del pa\u00eds\u201d.<\/p>\n

En el norte de M\u00e9xico<\/strong> se registraron los mayores aumentos de rendimiento en las tres m\u00e9tricas: la ocupaci\u00f3n creci\u00f3\u00a0 5,2% <\/strong>llegando a 67.4%; el ADR aument\u00f3 3.6% (1,275 pesos) y el RevPAR un 9% (859 pesos). Seg\u00fan el n\u00famero de hoteles, las ciudades m\u00e1s grandes incluidas en este mercado son Monterrey, Saltillo y Tampico.<\/p>\n

Los n\u00fameros de STR muestran que Ciudad de M\u00e9xico tambi\u00e9n tuvo mejor ocupaci\u00f3n que en el segundo trimestre de 2017<\/strong>, ya que aument\u00f3 un 3,7% cerrando el promedio en 68.8%. M\u00e9xico Central Norte<\/strong>, que incluye destinos como Guadalajara y Puerto Vallarta, registr\u00f3 el declive m\u00e1s pronunciado en ocupaci\u00f3n (-7.5% quedando en 59.3%).<\/p>\n

Mientras que la regi\u00f3n Central Sur de M\u00e9xico<\/strong> report\u00f3 la \u00fanica disminuci\u00f3n en ADR (-1.1% a 1,080 pesos) y la mayor ca\u00edda en RevPAR (-7.8% a 568 pesos ).
