En enero de este a\u00f1o WhatsApp sum\u00f3 una segunda aplicaci\u00f3n, enfocada a las empresas. Se denomin\u00f3 WhatsApp Business<\/strong> y con ella se presentaban una serie de funcionalidades nuevas para firmas que buscan contactarse con sus clientes.<\/p>\n

Esta semana, y luego de meses funcionando sin problemas, el servicio de mensajer\u00eda ha informado que las empresas quieran seguir usando\u00a0WhatsApp Business<\/strong> deber\u00e1n pagar por ello. \u00bfC\u00f3mo as\u00ed?<\/p>\n

Mediante una publicaci\u00f3n en su blog oficial, WhatsApp ha informado que compa\u00f1\u00edas\u00a0tendr\u00e1n que pagar por comunicarse con personas individuales.<\/p>\n

\u00abLas empresas pagar\u00e1n por enviarte ciertos mensajes, de manera que sean selectivas con los mensajes que env\u00edan y evitar que tus chats se congestionen\u00bb, indic\u00f3 la aplicaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

De esta forma, algunos mensajes sufrir\u00e1n un cobro para las compa\u00f1\u00edas, buscando que no se abuse de ella. Sin embargo, seg\u00fan un reporte de Reuters, la medida responde tambi\u00e9n a monetizar el servicio que hasta ahora parece funcionar gratuitamente y sin publicidad.<\/p>\n

La misma fuente se\u00f1ala que el cobro por mensaje ser\u00e1 de entre 0.5 a 9 d\u00f3lares<\/strong>, los que variar\u00e1n adem\u00e1s por pa\u00eds. A su vez, las empresas podr\u00e1n enviar publicidad a usuarios sin estos ser necesariamente clientes.<\/p>\n

Hasta ahora no se han dado m\u00e1s detalles, pero las empresas que quieran trabajar con WhatsApp de forma oficial tendr\u00e1n que costear el servicio, que cuenta con 1.500 millones de usuarios.<\/p>\n

WhatsApp prometi\u00f3 que a pesar de estas novedades, existir\u00e1 siempre la libertad de bloquear a los destinatarios.<\/p>\n
