Maru Escobedo, es Licenciada en Econom\u00eda por la Universidad Iberoamericana en la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, con una especialidad en Econom\u00eda para Mercados Importadores y Exportadores por el ITAM,\u00a0 y un diplomado en Mercadotecnia por el Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey.<\/p><\/div>\n

\u00a0Maru Escobedo<\/b>\u00a0se convirti\u00f3 en la primera mujer en ocupar la direcci\u00f3n general de la firma alemana\u00a0BMW\u00a0 Group M\u00e9xico.<\/b>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Con m\u00e1s de dos d\u00e9cadas de desempe\u00f1o en la empresa internacional fabricante de veh\u00edculos Premium para el mundo, Maru Escobedo\u00a0<\/strong>sabe que enfrenta nuevos retos, entre ellos el avance en la penetraci\u00f3n de autos h\u00edbridos y el\u00e9ctricos en M\u00e9xico<\/strong>, meta inicial\u00a0que ya rebas\u00f3 y lo convirti\u00f3 en uno de los principales mercados para la marca de esas unidades.<\/p>\n

Cuenta con una importante trayectoria en la organizaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, como Directora de MINI M\u00e9xico y hasta la fecha fungi\u00f3 como Directora de Ventas, Planeaci\u00f3n y Operaciones para BMW en M\u00e9xico y Mercados Importadores de Latinoam\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n

La empresa puso especial inter\u00e9s en sus operaciones en M\u00e9xico,\u00a0se coloc\u00f3 en el primer lugar de ventas de veh\u00edculos en su segmento Premium<\/strong>\u00a0con 11,172 unidades comercializadas, lo que represent\u00f3 un crecimiento de 20.1% y una contribuci\u00f3n al crecimiento de la industria del 0.22 por ciento,\u00a0cuando Maru Escobedo se desempe\u00f1aba como directora de ventas de la marca en M\u00e9xico.<\/span><\/p>\n

Se espera que en abril del 2019, de el banderazo de inicio en la producci\u00f3n de la primera fabrica de la marca, en San Luis Potos\u00ed.<\/strong>\u00a0Con\u00a0una inversi\u00f3n de alrededor de 1,000 millones de dolares en la planta, con capacidad de 150,000 veh\u00edculos premium al a\u00f1o, y dar\u00e1\u00a0empleo a 1,500 trabajadores.<\/p>\n
