Foto: ProM\u00e9xico<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>El futuro de ProM\u00e9xico sigue incierto, debido a que en el interior del equipo de transici\u00f3n, se gesta un debate sobre la permanencia o no, e\u00a0incluso la posibilidad de que ese organismo pase sus funciones a la Secretaria de Relaciones Exteriores (SER).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>El Secretario de Relaciones Exteriores para el gobierno de AMLO, Marcelo Ebrard, en una entrevista radiof\u00f3nica afirm\u00f3 que se <strong>analiza la posibilidad de que ProM\u00e9xico desaparezca y sus funciones sean absorbidas por las Embajadas del gobierno mexicano.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En contrapunto Graciela Marquez, designada Secretaria de Econom\u00eda en el nuevo gobierno, <strong>opin\u00f3 a favor de mantener a ProM\u00e9xico<\/strong>, de acuerdo con fuentes al tanto.<\/p>\n<p>Por lo que Paulo Carre\u00f1o King, Director de ProM\u00e9xico, mencion\u00f3 que <strong>el organismo se ha trazado el objetivo de promover la atracci\u00f3n de Inversi\u00f3n Extranjera Directa (IED)<\/strong>, las exportaciones de productos y servicios y la internacionalizaci\u00f3n de las empresas mexicanas.\u00a0\u00abUna de las variables que va a ser importante para definir qu\u00e9 dependencia se queda y cu\u00e1l no, es la utilidad, entonces ProM\u00e9xico tiene asegurada su existencia\u201d, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 en una entrevista a un diario en M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n<p>Y es que la atracci\u00f3n de IED es de gran importancia para el pa\u00eds <strong>dados sus efectos en la econom\u00eda<\/strong>, entre los cuales se encuentra la creaci\u00f3n de empleos, el incremento de la oferta de bienes y servicios, la incursi\u00f3n de empresas nacionales en nuevas actividades productivas, la adopci\u00f3n de m\u00e9todos y tecnolog\u00edas nuevas en el pa\u00eds y una mejora en las condiciones de competencia de productos y servicios nacionales en diversos mercados<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan su p\u00e1gina web, <strong>cuenta con 46 Oficinas de Representaci\u00f3n de ProM\u00e9xico<\/strong> en el Exterior (OREX), en ciudades como Washington, Tokio, Frankfurt y Melbourne.<\/p>\n<p>En tanto, Ildefonso Guajardo, Secretario de Econom\u00eda, dijo que \u201cProM\u00e9xico no s\u00f3lo ha cumplido cabalmente sus objetivos, sino que se ha consolidado como <strong>un indiscutible aliado de las empresas mexicanas en el exterior<\/strong> y como primer punto de contacto de las empresas extranjeras que han invertido en M\u00e9xico en la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Guajardo adujo que no hay ning\u00fan pa\u00eds desarrollado, ninguno de los 26 miembros de la Organizaci\u00f3n para la Cooperaci\u00f3n y Desarrollo Econ\u00f3micos (OCDE), que no cuente con una agencia de promoci\u00f3n a la inversi\u00f3n extranjera y a sus exportaciones.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Por su parte Valent\u00edn Diez Morodo, presidente del Consejo Mexicano de Comercio Exterior (COMCE), reconoci\u00f3 la presencia tanto de Bancomext como de ProM\u00e9xico<\/strong>,\u201cambos organismos nos han dado todo el apoyo, orientaci\u00f3n y trabajamos de manera coordinada en distintas partes del mundo, nos ayudan a todos los exportadores mexicanos\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con un \u00faltimo reporte anual, <strong>el organismo otorg\u00f3 616 apoyos en 2017<\/strong>, beneficiando a 596 empresas por 24.9 millones de pesos, monto que signific\u00f3 una disminuci\u00f3n de 38% interanual.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Los proyectos autorizados pertenecen, entre otros, a los sectores aeroespacial<\/strong>, <strong>automotriz, alimentos procesados, qu\u00edmico-cosm\u00e9tico, metal-mec\u00e1nico, telecomunicaciones y autopartes, en su mayor\u00eda enfocados en actividades de manufactura, con algunos componentes de investigaci\u00f3n, desarrollo y transferencia de tecnolog\u00eda. Se espera que generen inversiones por un monto total de 16,962 millones de d\u00f3lares y una cantidad de 47,494 nuevos empleos.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El
