Investigadores de diversos destinos de Latinoam\u00e9rica, denunciaron que los gobiernos de sus pa\u00edses no consideran prioritario fondear investigaciones sobre la relaci\u00f3n turismo-pobreza, a pesar de que es un fen\u00f3meno de desigualdad que muchos comparten.<\/strong><\/p>\n

En el marco del foro de an\u00e1lisis titulado \u201cLos retos de la investigaci\u00f3n tur\u00edstica en M\u00e9xico\u201d<\/strong>, de la Asociaci\u00f3n Mexicana de Investigaci\u00f3n Tur\u00edstica (AMIT), una investigadora de Per\u00fa se\u00f1al\u00f3 que en su pa\u00eds hay seis millones de pobres, los cuales se presentan parad\u00f3jicamente en los destinos tur\u00edsticos, como Los Andes o el sur andino; mientras que en Acapulco existen 69 comedores comunitarios, lo cual es indicador del nivel de pobreza que se traduce en un modelo tur\u00edstico fracasado.<\/p>\n

En ese sentido, el ponente Basilio Verduzco Ch\u00e1vez, lament\u00f3 que m\u00e1s de 50 millones de pobres en M\u00e9xico no sean suficientes<\/strong> para que instituciones como el Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda (Conacyt), considere fondear investigaciones sobre el turismo, encaminadas a reducir la pobreza.<\/p>\n

Consider\u00f3 que ser\u00e1 muy dif\u00edcil resolver los problemas en\u00a0 materia de desigualdad sin entender cu\u00e1les son sus determinantes<\/strong> y c\u00f3mo se manifiestan de manera distinta en cada una de las actividades econ\u00f3micas y en las distintas regiones.<\/p>\n

Se\u00f1al\u00f3 que la principal limitaci\u00f3n a la que se enfrentan los investigadores, tiene que ver con la estructura de implementaci\u00f3n de la pol\u00edtica cient\u00edfica en turismo<\/strong>. \u201cToda la estructura de dise\u00f1o de pol\u00edtica p\u00fablica no ha asumido esto como un reto importante, los investigadores topamos con pared cuando proponemos esto\u201d, dijo.<\/p>\n

Afirm\u00f3 que toda la econom\u00eda mundial est\u00e1 transitando hacia la econom\u00eda del conocimiento, lo que significa que todos los procesos productivos y todos los procesos de cambio social est\u00e1n siendo entendidos con base en uso intensivo de conocimientos. No obstante, dijo, los gobiernos no han entendido bien su misi\u00f3n en t\u00e9rmino de las aportaciones que puede hacer la generaci\u00f3n de conocimientos especializados<\/strong> por tema y por regi\u00f3n, para entender la naturaleza de los problemas sociales en los que hay que intervenir.<\/p>\n

\u201cSi tenemos la relaci\u00f3n crecimiento tur\u00edstico y pobreza en un mismo destino, la pregunta es: \u00bfQu\u00e9 est\u00e1 pasando ah\u00ed? \u00bfC\u00f3mo explicamos eso? Y generar conocimientos ser\u00eda importante. Pero creo que ni en el Conacyt, ni en la Secretar\u00eda de Turismo federal\u2026\u00a0 a nivel estatal est\u00e1 la situaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil y a nivel municipal, ni existe como tema<\/strong>\u201d, lament\u00f3<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
