Amazon por fin anunci\u00f3 a las ciudades que ser\u00e1n las sedes de su segundo y tercer cuartel general, estas quedan ubicadas directamente frente a los centros de las principales ciudades.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Amazon por fin anunci\u00f3 a las ciudades que ser\u00e1n las sedes de su segundo y tercer cuartel general. \u00c9stas son Long Island, Nueva York, y Crystal City, en Virginia,\u00a0que est\u00e1n ubicadas directamente frente a los centros de las principales ciudades.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n anunci\u00f3 que desarrollar\u00e1 un nuevo centro de excelencia para su negocio de\u00a0 operaciones y log\u00edstico de menor tama\u00f1o en Nashville, capital del estado de Tennesse<\/strong>,\u00a0que es responsable del cumplimiento de los clientes, el transporte, la cadena de suministro y otras actividades similares de la empresa; con el que crear\u00e1 m\u00e1s de 5,000 empleos y cuya contrataci\u00f3n comenzar\u00e1 el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan un comunicado de la compa\u00f1\u00eda, las contrataciones en los tres nuevos centros comenzar\u00e1n en 2019 y sus trabajadores recibir\u00e1n un salario medio anual de 150.000 d\u00f3lares (unos 133.000 euros).<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cEstamos entusiasmados de construir una nueva sede en la ciudad de Nueva York y el norte de Virginia. Estas dos ubicaciones nos permitir\u00e1n atraer talento de clase mundial<\/strong> que nos ayudar\u00e1 a seguir inventando para los clientes durante los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os. El equipo hizo un gran trabajo al seleccionar estos sitios y esperamos convertirnos en una parte a\u00fan m\u00e1s grande de estas comunidades\u00bb, destac\u00f3 Jeff Bezos fundador y CEO de Amazon, en las l\u00edneas del\u00a0comunicado<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Con esta\u00a0decisi\u00f3n pone fin a una convocatoria<\/strong> lanzada por Amazon hace m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o para la b\u00fasqueda de un sitio para albergar su segunda sede de oficinas en las que promet\u00eda invertir 5,000 millones de d\u00f3lares y crear hasta 50,000 empleos.<\/p>\n

Y es que desde el pasado mes de enero, la empresa dio a conocer una lista de 20 ciudades finalistas,<\/strong> de entre casi 240 candidaturas, que inclu\u00edan tambi\u00e9n lugares en\u00a0M\u00e9xico y Canad\u00e1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Estas nuevas sedes se unir\u00e1n al cuartel general de Seattle, en Washington<\/strong>, desde donde se gestiona la compa\u00f1\u00eda, que emplea a 650.000 personas en todo el mundo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
