El Aeropuerto Internacional de Canc\u00fan recibi\u00f3 la certificaci\u00f3n ISO 14001:2004 otorgado por\u00a0 la European Quality Assurance (EQA), organismo internacional avalado por la Entidad Mexicana de Acreditaci\u00f3n (EMA), el National Acreditation Board (ANAB) de los Estados Unidos y el International Acreditation Forum (IFA). Asimismo, por quinta ocasi\u00f3n consecutiva recibi\u00f3 el certificado de Calidad Ambiental que otorga la Procuradur\u00eda Federal de Protecci\u00f3n al Ambiente (Profepa). Carlos Trueba, director del Aeropuerto Internacional de Canc\u00fan, recibi\u00f3 la distinci\u00f3n internacional de manos de Gustav Horn, vicepresidente de EQA a nivel mundial, y de Jorge Hern\u00e1ndez, director general de EQA M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n

\u201cEl compromiso de Asur con el desarrollo sustentable de la regi\u00f3n se ha reflejado en acciones concretas desde que el Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste asumi\u00f3 la administraci\u00f3n del Aeropuerto de Canc\u00fan en 1998. En el a\u00f1o 2000, Asur obtuvo su primer certificado de Industria Limpia, el cual ahora lleva el nombre de Certificado de Calidad Ambiental, y se ha conservado de manera ininterrumpida desde entonces\u201d, coment\u00f3 Carlos Trueba.<\/p>\n

Entre las acciones que Asur ha realizado en favor del medio ambiente destacan la reforestaci\u00f3n de 10 hect\u00e1reas de mangle rojo en el Area de Protecci\u00f3n de Flora y Fauna Manglares de Nichupt\u00e9, as\u00ed como el aprovechamiento de la capa vegetal removida del \u00e1rea donde se construy\u00f3 el edificio terminal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
