Foto: estrategiaynegocios<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p id=\"p6471418-m494-493-495\" class=\"paragraph\"><strong>Los gigantes farmac\u00e9uticos\u00a0GlaxoSmithKline y\u00a0Pfizer, que suman entre ambos una\u00a0capitalizaci\u00f3n cercana a los 350.000 millones de d\u00f3lares, han cerrado un acuerdo para crear el mayor proveedor del mundo de\u00a0medicamentos y vacunas\u00a0de venta libre.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"p6471418-m499-1-500\" class=\"paragraph\">El coloso nacido de ambas podr\u00eda alcanzar\u00a0<b>un volumen de ventas superior a los 13.000 millones de d\u00f3lares<\/b><strong>,<\/strong> <strong>donde\u00a0Glaxo tendr\u00e1 una participaci\u00f3n mayoritaria del 68 por ciento<\/strong> en la nueva entidad, con ventas totales de 12 mil 700 millones de d\u00f3lares. La compa\u00f1\u00eda ampliada operar\u00e1 bajo el nombre de GSK Consumer Healthcare.<\/p>\n<p data-count=\"377\" data-wrap=\"66\"><strong>La transacci\u00f3n crear\u00eda el mayor proveedor mundial de medicamentos sin recetas<\/strong>, con marcas de analg\u00e9sicos como Advil y Panadol, y supone un cambio respecto a la estrategia anterior de la m\u00e1xima responsable, Emma Walmsley, de mantener los negocios de consumo y vacunas, con un rendimiento constante, bajo el mismo techo que las operaciones farmac\u00e9uticas m\u00e1s vol\u00e1tiles.<\/p>\n<p data-count=\"533\" data-wrap=\"84\"><strong>La idea del fabricante de medicamentos del Reino Unido es sacar a bolsa el nuevo negocio en un plazo de tres a\u00f1os<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-count=\"533\" data-wrap=\"84\"><b>Recientemente la compa\u00f1\u00eda brit\u00e1nica\u00a0adquiri\u00f3 al fabricante de medicamentos Tesaro por 5.100 millones de d\u00f3lares<\/b>. Aunque se trata de una cifra alta, seg\u00fan los analistas, le permitir\u00e1 a Glaxo adentrarse de lleno en el mercado de los\u00a0medicamentos contra el c\u00e1ncer, uno de los que tienen m\u00e1s potencial en la actualidad.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\" data-count=\"533\" data-wrap=\"84\"><strong> La compa\u00f1\u00eda dijo este mi\u00e9rcoles que el acuerdo sienta las bases para crear dos
