Despu\u00e9s de que el 5 de diciembre un juez federal otorgara una suspensi\u00f3n definitiva a la disposici\u00f3n que lo catalogaba como transporte p\u00fablico sujeto a concesi\u00f3n.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tras un a\u00f1o de pausa en uno de los destinos tur\u00edsticos m\u00e1s importantes del pa\u00eds, Uber da inicio al proceso para regresar a Canc\u00fan.<\/strong>\u00a0Despu\u00e9s de que el 5 de diciembre un juez federal otorgara una suspensi\u00f3n definitiva a la disposici\u00f3n que lo catalogaba como transporte p\u00fablico sujeto a concesi\u00f3n, mismo que se aplica para el transporte p\u00fablico tradicional y que no contempla las particularidades de las empresas de econom\u00eda colaborativa como Uber.<\/p>\n

\u201cDesde nuestro inicio de operaciones en Canc\u00fan, en 2016,\u00a0nuestro principal objetivo fue brindar a miles de cancunenses y turistas<\/strong> una opci\u00f3n de movilidad accesible y confiable, al toque de un bot\u00f3n\u201d, declar\u00f3 Sa\u00fal Crespo, gerente de Comunicaci\u00f3n en Uber M\u00e9xico. \u201cReconocemos la decisi\u00f3n de las autoridades federales, quienes antepusieron los intereses de la mayor\u00eda y la innovaci\u00f3n\u201d, agreg\u00f3.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alrededor de 80% de los usuarios que Uber movi\u00f3<\/strong> en la ciudad eran turistas, 50 % de ellos eran nacionales y 30% extranjeros, el mercado local lo conforman un 20 por ciento.<\/p>\n

Finalmente, ayudar\u00e1 a impulsar la econom\u00eda local<\/strong>. \u201cNo s\u00f3lo los socios conductores y usuarios pueden beneficiarse de sus servicios; los comerciantes pueden tener la oportunidad de tener un mayor n\u00famero de clientes, al acercar a los usuarios a sus negocios\u201d, expres\u00f3 Crespo.<\/p>\n

De acuerdo con un estudio publicado por la Confederaci\u00f3n Patronal de la Rep\u00fablica Mexicana cap\u00edtulo Canc\u00fan (COPARMEX Canc\u00fan), 63% de la poblaci\u00f3n en Canc\u00fan<\/strong> quieren que las Empresas de Redes de Transporte (ERT), como Uber, operen en la ciudad, ya que consideran que es ben\u00e9fico para la sociedad (78%). Adicionalmente, 67% de la poblaci\u00f3n piensan que las ERT representan nuevas oportunidades econ\u00f3micas.<\/p>\n
