{"id":35323,"date":"2019-01-21T17:33:39","date_gmt":"2019-01-21T22:33:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.latitud21.com.mx\/?p=35323"},"modified":"2019-01-31T17:56:19","modified_gmt":"2019-01-31T22:56:19","slug":"aumenta-la-llegada-de-turistas-internacionales-omt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/l21.mx\/?p=35323","title":{"rendered":"Aumenta la llegada de turistas internacionales: OMT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latitud21.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Destinos.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-35324\" src=\"http:\/\/www.latitud21.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Destinos.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"651\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>La Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de Turismo (OMT) estima que las llegadas de turistas internacionales en todo el mundo (visitantes que pernoctan) aumentaron 6% hasta mil 400 millones en 2018, claramente por encima del crecimiento del 3.7% de la econom\u00eda mundial.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En t\u00e9rminos relativos, Oriente Medio (+10%), \u00c1frica (+7%), Asia y el Pac\u00edfico y Europa (ambos con +6%) <strong>lideraron el crecimiento en 2018<\/strong>. Las llegadas a las Am\u00e9ricas estuvieron por debajo del promedio mundial (+3%).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl crecimiento del turismo en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os confirma que el sector es hoy uno de los motores m\u00e1s poderosos de crecimiento y desarrollo econ\u00f3mico a nivel global. Tenemos la responsabilidad de gestionarlo de manera sostenible para <strong>traducir esta expansi\u00f3n en beneficios reales<\/strong> para todos los pa\u00edses, y en particular, para todas las comunidades locales, creando oportunidades de empleo y emprendimiento y sin dejar a nadie atr\u00e1s\u201d, dijo el secretario general de la OMT, Zurab Pololikashvili.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab<strong>Es por eso que la OMT est\u00e1 centrando el 2019 en la educaci\u00f3n, las habilidades y la creaci\u00f3n de empleo<\/strong>\u00ab, agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>El pron\u00f3stico a largo plazo de la OMT publicado en 2010 predice un total de mil 400 millones de llegadas de turistas internacionales para 2020. Sin embargo, el crecimiento econ\u00f3mico m\u00e1s s\u00f3lido, los viajes a\u00e9reos m\u00e1s asequibles, los cambios tecnol\u00f3gicos, los nuevos modelos de negocios y la mayor facilitaci\u00f3n de visados, han <strong>acelerado el crecimiento en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Resultados por regi\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Las llegadas de turistas internacionales a Europa alcanzaron los 713 millones en 2018<\/strong>, un aumento notable de 6% en comparaci\u00f3n con un 2017 excepcionalmente fuerte. El crecimiento fue impulsado por la Europa meridional y mediterr\u00e1nea (+7%), Europa central y oriental (+6%) y Europa occidental (+6%). Los resultados en el norte de Europa fueron planos debido a la debilidad de las llegadas al Reino Unido.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Las Am\u00e9ricas (+3%) recibieron 217 millones de llegadas internacionales en 2018, con resultados mixtos en todos los destinos<\/strong>. El crecimiento fue liderado por Am\u00e9rica del Norte (+4%) y seguido por Am\u00e9rica del Sur (+3%), mientras que Am\u00e9rica Central y el Caribe (ambos -2%) obtuvieron resultados muy variados,
