{"id":35368,"date":"2019-01-23T11:10:48","date_gmt":"2019-01-23T16:10:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.latitud21.com.mx\/?p=35368"},"modified":"2019-01-31T15:59:28","modified_gmt":"2019-01-31T20:59:28","slug":"suma-13-nuevos-hoteles-barcelo-durante-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/l21.mx\/?p=35368","title":{"rendered":"Suma 13 nuevos hoteles Barcel\u00f3 durante 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latitud21.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Barcel\u00f3.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-35370\" src=\"http:\/\/www.latitud21.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Barcel\u00f3-1024x557.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"557\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Coincidiendo con la celebraci\u00f3n de la 39\u00aa edici\u00f3n de la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifema.es\/fitur_01\/Informacion_general\/Presentacion\/index.htm\">Feria Internacional de Turismo<\/a> (Fitur), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.barcelogrupo.com\/\">Barcel\u00f3 Hotel Group<\/a> present\u00f3 ante los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n su balance de expansi\u00f3n de 2018 y sus planes de crecimiento para 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Barcel\u00f3 Hotel Group cerr\u00f3 2018 manteniendo, e incluso superando, el ritmo de crecimiento registrado en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os<\/strong>. Durante el pasado ejercicio la cadena incorpor\u00f3 un total de 13 hoteles y dos mil 519 habitaciones, que han permitido elevar su portfolio a 249 establecimientos y 55 mil 14 habitaciones en 22 pa\u00edses. Cifra que coloca a la cadena como la tercera m\u00e1s grande a nivel espa\u00f1ol y la vig\u00e9simo novena dentro del ranking de cadenas internacionales.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lo m\u00e1s destacable de esa expansi\u00f3n es la entrada de la cadena en Portugal<\/strong>, la posici\u00f3n de liderato alcanzada en Marruecos y la progresi\u00f3n del desarrollo en Oriente Medio, entre otros.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan <strong>Jaime Bux\u00f3, director de Desarrollo de Negocio de Barcel\u00f3 Hotel Group<\/strong>, \u201ctras unos a\u00f1os de ralentizaci\u00f3n debido a la crisis, en los tres \u00faltimos ejercicios (2016-2018), <strong>hemos logrado reactivar la expansi\u00f3n con un total de 35 nuevos establecimientos y seis mil 971 habitaciones<\/strong> gracias a nuestra capacidad de negociaci\u00f3n con grupos locales y hoteles independientes, a los que les estamos ofreciendo propuestas flexibles que ponen en valor sus hoteles y mantienen su personalidad, al tiempo que les aportan la mayor rentabilidad posible a largo plazo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.latitud21.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Barcel\u00f3-1.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-35369\" src=\"http:\/\/www.latitud21.com.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Barcel\u00f3-1-1024x557.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"557\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>De cara al futuro, \u201c<strong>el crecimiento est\u00e1 asegurado<\/strong> gracias a las <strong>m\u00e1s de seis mil habitaciones<\/strong> que ya tenemos firmadas para su incorporaci\u00f3n <strong>de aqu\u00ed a 2021<\/strong>, a lo que hay que sumar lo que se consiga con el nuevo Plan Estrat\u00e9gico (2019-2021) de la compa\u00f1\u00eda, que <strong>contempla la firma de 75 nuevos proyectos<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, <strong>Ra\u00fal Gonz\u00e1lez, CEO para EMEA de Barcel\u00f3 Hotel Group<\/strong>, \u201cen lo que respecta a los resultados econ\u00f3micos de 2018, aunque todav\u00eda no son definitivos, ser\u00e1n similares a los de 2017, que <strong>fue un a\u00f1o hist\u00f3rico, y rozar\u00e1n los tres mil millones de euros en ventas, con un beneficio neto consolidado de 180 millones de euros\u201d.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>En t\u00e9rminos de ocupaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, a\u00f1ade, \u201cAm\u00e9rica Latina mejor\u00f3 ligeramente con 82% de media frente al 80% de 2017; mientras que Espa\u00f1a y Europa se mantuvo igual con un 73%\u201d. En RevPar fue lo contrario, \u201cEspa\u00f1a y Europa cerraron con un precio medio de 101 euros la noche frente a los 100 euros conseguidos en 2017; y <strong>en Am\u00e9rica Latina \u00e9ste fue de 151 d\u00f3lares frente a los 152 d\u00f3lares del ejercicio anterior;<\/strong> en todo caso, cifras muy similares en ambos ejercicios\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Otro factor destacable ha sido el generado por <strong>el tipo de cambio del d\u00f3lar<\/strong>, agrega, \u201cya que el de <strong>2018 fue de mil 188 frente al mil 114 del a\u00f1o anterior<\/strong>, por lo que un d\u00f3lar m\u00e1s d\u00e9bil permiti\u00f3 un beneficio neto recurrente similar al del a\u00f1o anterior de 180 millones de euros\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Por \u00faltimo, cabe destacar \u201cla importante reducci\u00f3n de deuda financiera neta que hemos conseguido, pasando de los 330,7 millones de euros de 2017 a los 79,2 millones de euros de 2018. Todo ello nos permitir\u00e1 llevar a cabo <strong>en 2019 un importante plan de reformas e inversiones por un importe de 250 millones de
