En el primer semestre de 2013 Riviera Maya registr\u00f3 80 por ciento de ocupaci\u00f3n de cuartos promedio, siete puntos arriba en comparaci\u00f3n con el per\u00edodo enero-junio del a\u00f1o pasado, inform\u00f3 Dar\u00edo Flota Ocampo, director del Fideicomiso de Promoci\u00f3n Tur\u00edstica del destino (FPTRM).<\/p>\n

El director del FTPRM estim\u00f3 que durante el mes de julio el destino alcanzar\u00e1 90 por ciento de ocupaci\u00f3n promedio en sus 40 mil 600 cuartos de hotel.<\/p>\n

\u201cVamos a tener llenos en los Todo Incluido, y esperamos romper la cifra record del a\u00f1o pasado\u201d, expres\u00f3\u2014. El turismo norteamericano y nacional son los visitantes que m\u00e1s llegan\u00a0 para este Verano, abarrotan las playas y calles de la zona tur\u00edstica de Playa del Carmen.<\/p>\n

Destac\u00f3 que los connacionales ayudan en gran parte a la ocupaci\u00f3n de la zona centro de esta ciudad, principalmente de los estados de M\u00e9rida, Monterrey, Jalisco y la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n

Por otra parte, mencion\u00f3 que se prev\u00e9 la llegada de m\u00e1s de 60 mil rusos para este a\u00f1o al destino, turista de alto poder adquisitivo, con lo cual se tendr\u00eda un incremento de casi 5 por ciento en comparaci\u00f3n con 2012, cuando arribaron alrededor de 55 mil visitantes de dicho pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n

Para finalizar, Flota Ocampo dijo que Riviera Maya prepara su participaci\u00f3n para las pr\u00f3ximas ferias tur\u00edsticas internacionales, \u201cen septiembre estaremos en Mosc\u00fa, octubre en Argentina y Brasil, y en noviembre en la Feria de Londres, una de las m\u00e1s importantes en el mundo, que nos permitir\u00e1 seguir consolidando al destino como uno de los mejores\u201d.<\/p>\n
