El presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Hoteles de Canc\u00fan, Roberto Cintr\u00f3n D\u00edaz, calcul\u00f3 que durante el mes de julio la zona hotelera de este destino tur\u00edstico y los centros de hospedaje de Puerto Morelos estar\u00e1n por arriba del 85 por ciento de ocupaci\u00f3n, con lo que se espera una importante derrama econ\u00f3mica para los prestadores de servicios tur\u00edsticos.<\/p>\n

\u201cCon base en las reservaciones y proyecciones, promediaremos 86.8 puntos porcentuales de ocupaci\u00f3n en el presente mes\u201d, apunt\u00f3. Inclusive, el primer fin de semana del mes alcanzamos los 90 puntos y en el segundo 88 por ciento de ocupaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

De acuerdo con los reportes, en este per\u00edodo vacacional se registra la llegada de un alto porcentaje de turistas nacionales, principalmente, de la ciudad de M\u00e9xico, Monterrey, Guadalajara y Yucat\u00e1n, entre otras entidades.<\/p>\n

En ese contexto, se prev\u00e9 que en 2013 el mercado nacional crecer\u00e1 25 por ciento, mismo porcentaje de aumento que report\u00f3 el a\u00f1o pasado.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, el mercado principal para Canc\u00fan y el resto de los polos vacacionales de la entidad son los visitantes de Estados Unidos de Am\u00e9rica. El turista canadiense como el sudamericano tambi\u00e9n prefiere los hoteles y las playas del destino para descansar en estas fechas.<\/p>\n

Cabe recordar que este verano se espera una derrama econ\u00f3mica de mil 500 millones de d\u00f3lares en los centros tur\u00edsticos de Quintana Roo, seg\u00fan la Secretar\u00eda de Turismo en el Estado (Sedetur).<\/p>\n
