M\u00e9xico es el segundo pa\u00eds latinoamericano que avala esta fusi\u00f3n, el primero fue Brasil. <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>El Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones (IFT) aprob\u00f3 este martes el acuerdo entre&nbsp;<strong>Walt Disney<\/strong>&nbsp;y los activos de entretenimiento de&nbsp;<strong>21st Century Fox<\/strong>&nbsp;por 71 mil millones de d\u00f3lares, bajo la condici\u00f3n de que las compa\u00f1\u00edas acepten vender los canales y derechos de programaci\u00f3n de<strong>&nbsp;Fox Sports&nbsp;<\/strong>en el pa\u00eds, de acuerdo con dos personas con conocimiento de la situaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El IFT concluy\u00f3 que la propiedad de ESPN por parte de Disney crear\u00eda una concentraci\u00f3n y dejar\u00eda a&nbsp;<strong>Grupo Televisa<\/strong>&nbsp;como el \u00fanico competidor en ese mercado espec\u00edfico, seg\u00fan una persona, quien solicit\u00f3 no ser nombrada porque el proceso a\u00fan no es p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La votaci\u00f3n fue a \u00faltima hora del lunes. Otro regulador mexicano antimonopolio, la Comisi\u00f3n Federal de competencia Econ\u00f3mica (Cofece), ya hab\u00eda aprobado el acuerdo en febrero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00e9xico era el \u00faltimo obst\u00e1culo importante para el acuerdo. Disney espera que la compra se cierre el 20 de marzo, inform\u00f3 la compa\u00f1\u00eda este martes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La agencia reguladora de&nbsp;<strong>Brasil, Cade<\/strong>, aprob\u00f3 el acuerdo el mes pasado en virtud de un proceso de desinversi\u00f3n similar. Las partes aceptaron la venta para obtener la luz verde. En M\u00e9xico, el IFT ha notificado a las compa\u00f1\u00edas el fallo, afirma la persona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En Estados Unidos, Disney acept\u00f3 vender las 22 redes de deportes regionales de Fox despu\u00e9s de que el Departamento de Justicia dijera que la propiedad de esos canales y ESPN le dar\u00eda a la compa\u00f1\u00eda una influencia indebida en la transmisi\u00f3n deportiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La compa\u00f1\u00eda tambi\u00e9n vender\u00e1 su participaci\u00f3n de 50 por ciento en A+E Networks en Europa para satisfacer a los
