Al ceviche tambi\u00e9n se le conoce como cebiche, seviche o sebiche, dependiendo de la regi\u00f3n donde lo consumas; sin embargo, siempre se refiere al mismo tipo de platillo: base de pescado o mariscos marinados con c\u00edtricos e ingredientes frescos como tomate, cebolla, pepino, frutas y algunas especias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Se cree que este delicioso platillo t\u00edpico de la comida con mariscos y del mar tiene sus or\u00edgenes hace varios siglos en Am\u00e9rica del Sur, ya que es tradicional en pa\u00edses que con costas en el Oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico, como  Per\u00fa, Chile, Ecuador y M\u00e9xico. Las formas de preparar el ceviche var\u00edan en cada naci\u00f3n, al igual que los acompa\u00f1amientos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EL CEVICHE TIENE SUS OR\u00cdGENES HACE VARIOS SIGLOS EN AM\u00c9RICA DEL SUR.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

En Ecuador, se acostumbra cocinar los pescados o mariscos que se van a emplear en el ceviche, previo a la preparaci\u00f3n, a diferencia del ceviche t\u00edpico de Per\u00fa, en el que el lim\u00f3n y los c\u00edtricos se encargan de la \u201ccocci\u00f3n\u201d. Adem\u00e1s, es com\u00fan encontrarlo con mango en lugar de pescado o mariscos y se acompa\u00f1a com\u00fanmente con pl\u00e1tanos dominicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En Panam\u00e1 com\u00fanmente se prepara con r\u00f3balo y se sirve en peque\u00f1as conchas hechas de masa o de pasta. Al ceviche paname\u00f1o se le suele agregar apio, adem\u00e1s de la cebolla, sal, chile habanero y jugo de lim\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En Chile se elabora con merlusa de la Patagonia, se le agrega lim\u00f3n y jugo de toronja, as\u00ed como chile y ajo, cilantro y menta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuba lo cocina con mahi mahi, sal, pimiento morr\u00f3n verde, pimienta inglesa, chile habanero, cebolla y jugo de lim\u00f3n, aunque muchas recetas de ceviche cubano tambi\u00e9n incluyen at\u00fan y calamar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En Costa Rica los ceviches se aderezan con sal, pimienta, cebolla, pimientos morrones, cilantro y jugo de lim\u00f3n y se acompa\u00f1a con lechuga y galletas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En M\u00e9xico, los pescados y mariscos que com\u00fanmente se usan en los tipos de ceviche son los camarones, pulpo y osti\u00f3n; se le agrega cilantro, aguacate, chile, cebolla, lim\u00f3n y sal. Se sirve en copas cocteleras y se acompa\u00f1a con galletas saladas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Existe una variante de ceviche por cada gusto. El restaurante Fred\u2019s House ofrece cuatro tipos \/ recetas con variaciones cada uno (de pulpo, de camar\u00f3n, de pescado o mixto), estamos seguros de que te encantar\u00e1n, con\u00f3celos:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imperdible; con kiwi, mango, jitomate, cilantro, cebolla morada, chile jalape\u00f1o, chile serrano y aceite de oliva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yucateco<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta delicia la sirven con aguacate, jitomate, cilantro, cebolla morada, lim\u00f3n, chile habanero y aceite de oliva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acapulco<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con jugo de naranja, aceitunas, pepino, aguacate, lim\u00f3n, jitomate, cilantro, cebolla blanca, chile jalape\u00f1o y aceite de oliva. Un cl\u00e1sico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tres Vueltas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta es una especialidad de la casa. Cuentan la leyenda que el nombre surge de una ocasi\u00f3n en que un alto directivo estaba comiendo en Fred\u2019s y solicit\u00f3 su ceviche con una variaci\u00f3n a su estilo, pero el plato tuvo que dar tres vueltas de la cocina al sal\u00f3n hasta que cumpli\u00f3 con las caracter\u00edsticas que ped\u00eda el \u201cJefe\u201d, por lo que se decidi\u00f3 agregar a la carta con ese nombre, Ceviche Tres Vueltas. Se preapara con salsa mixta (c\u00e1tsup, caldo de camar\u00f3n, salsa B\u00fafalo, jugo de naranja, lim\u00f3n, salsa inglesa y jugo de tomate), aguacate, jitomate, cebolla y cilantro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
