{"id":37662,"date":"2019-05-16T10:45:01","date_gmt":"2019-05-16T15:45:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/l21.mx\/?p=37662"},"modified":"2019-05-16T10:45:04","modified_gmt":"2019-05-16T15:45:04","slug":"pemex-busca-nueva-formula-para-fijar-precio-del-crudo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/l21.mx\/?p=37662","title":{"rendered":"Pemex busca nueva f\u00f3rmula para fijar precio del crudo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>M\u00e9xico est\u00e1 trabajando en una nueva f\u00f3rmula para<strong>&nbsp;fijar el precio del crudo<\/strong>&nbsp;a fin de reflejar las pr\u00f3ximas regulaciones sobre el fuel\u00f3leo, lo que afectar\u00e1 su cobertura de petr\u00f3leo de miles de millones de d\u00f3lares, considerada la mayor operaci\u00f3n de petr\u00f3leo en Wall Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La petrolera estatal&nbsp;<strong>Petr\u00f3leos Mexicanos&nbsp;<\/strong>est\u00e1 trabajando con la Secretar\u00eda de Hacienda del pa\u00eds para completar la f\u00f3rmula, dijo el m\u00e1ximo responsable Octavio Romero en una entrevista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actualmente, M\u00e9xico vende su crudo Maya utilizando una f\u00f3rmula de precios que toma en consideraci\u00f3n el valor del petr\u00f3leo en Estados Unidos y el fuel\u00f3leo. A su vez, el pa\u00eds latinoamericano compra opciones \u201cput\u201d de los bancos de Wall Street para garantizar o cubrir el precio del crudo Maya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Puesto que el\u00a0<strong>petr\u00f3leo Maya<\/strong>\u00a0no es un tipo de crudo que se negocia en los mercados financieros, los bancos que venden las opciones cubren su exposici\u00f3n utilizando m\u00faltiples instrumentos, incluido en el mercado financiero del fuel\u00f3leo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La<strong>\u00a0revisi\u00f3n de la f\u00f3rmula de precios<\/strong>\u00a0resultar\u00e1 en un cambio en la forma en que los bancos se protegen a s\u00ed mismos, lo que podr\u00eda afectar contratos nominales de fuel\u00f3leo por miles de millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Romero dijo que estaban trabajando con la Secretar\u00eda de Hacienda en la definici\u00f3n, incluida una nueva f\u00f3rmula para el precio del petr\u00f3leo en sustituci\u00f3n del fuel\u00f3leo que se utilizar\u00e1 para la cobertura. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A\u00f1adi\u00f3 que llevaban trabajando varias semanas en ello y que estaba pr\u00e1cticamente listo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La mayor cobertura<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La cobertura soberana de petr\u00f3leo anual de M\u00e9xico, la mayor de su clase, se considera una de las m\u00e1s secretas de Wall Street. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hist\u00f3ricamente, la Secretar\u00eda de Hacienda ha comprado opciones put (contratos que le dan el derecho de vender crudo a un precio futuro predeterminado) a un peque\u00f1o grupo de bancos de inversi\u00f3n y empresas petroleras. Las negociaciones con las aseguradoras comenzar\u00e1n pronto, dijo Romero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando se le pregunt\u00f3 si Pemex tendr\u00e1 su propia cobertura para 2020, Romero dijo que a\u00fan no estaba decidido.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La decisi\u00f3n de eliminar el fuel\u00f3leo, con alto contenido de azufre, de la f\u00f3rmula de fijaci\u00f3n de precios para el crudo mexicano es el resultado de las regulaciones IMO 2020 emitidas por la Organizaci\u00f3n Mar\u00edtima Internacional que requieren que los barcos cambien a combustibles con bajo contenido de azufre a partir de enero del pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se espera que la regulaci\u00f3n reduzca dr\u00e1sticamente la demanda de fuel\u00f3leo, lo que provocar\u00e1 una ca\u00edda significativa del
