Alex Zozaya, CEO de Apple Leisure Group<\/a><\/span>, ve con preocupaci\u00f3n la industria tur\u00edstica de M\u00e9xico y advirti\u00f3 que no se ver\u00e1 crecimiento como ven\u00eda sucediendo en otros a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

Y por ello, dijo, grandes marcas no est\u00e1n invirtiendo; incluso ellos, solo est\u00e1n terminando de construir los proyectos que ya hab\u00edan anunciado.<\/p>\n

Durante su participaci\u00f3n en el panel \u201cDesaf\u00edos del Crecimiento Tur\u00edstico en M\u00e9xico en un Tiempo Disruptivo\u201d dentro del IV Congreso Nacional de AFEET<\/a><\/span> 2019, asegur\u00f3 que el pa\u00eds perdi\u00f3 competitividad en diversos aspectos.<\/p>\n

Se\u00f1al\u00f3 que no solo por falta de promoci\u00f3n con la desaparici\u00f3n del Consejo de Promoci\u00f3n Tur\u00edstica de M\u00e9xico (CPTM), sino tambi\u00e9n en el aspecto aeroportuario.<\/p>\n

De hecho, dijo que la cancelaci\u00f3n del aeropuerto de Texcoco, (que ahora deriv\u00f3 en el freno de Santa Luc\u00eda), va a repercutir por muchos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

Urge atender necesidades de la industria<\/h2>\n

Agreg\u00f3 que ser competitivos en conectividad e infraestructura es b\u00e1sico y que en todas las ciudades que est\u00e1n dando prioridad a los aeropuertos, el turismo va viento en popa.<\/p>\n

Por supuesto, reconoci\u00f3 que el sargazo tambi\u00e9n afecta la imagen del destino y es innegable que M\u00e9xico est\u00e1 empezando a perder participaci\u00f3n en el mercado.<\/p>\n

Destac\u00f3 que todo eso se refleja en la ca\u00edda de la ocupaci\u00f3n hotelera en el Caribe.<\/p>\n

Si a eso le sumamos la competencia por las plataformas de rentas vacacionales, dijo, el panorama es dif\u00edcil.<\/p>\n
