Ante las bajas ventas de Johnnie Walker<\/a><\/span> y Buchanan\u2019s<\/a><\/span> en M\u00e9xico, la empresa Diageo decidi\u00f3 vender versiones de bolsillo, a ver si el consumo levanta.<\/p>\n

El objetivo es que estos productos impulsen las ventas, pues ser\u00e1n m\u00e1s baratos (por ser peque\u00f1os).<\/p>\n

Esta estrategia es en respuesta al comportamiento del mercado mexicano para las marcas.<\/p>\n

De julio 2018 a junio 2019, las ventas netas de Diageo en M\u00e9xico aumentaron solo 8%.<\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan el reporte de la compa\u00f1\u00eda, las ventas de whisky escoc\u00e9s crecieron 4% en M\u00e9xico, en especial por Johnnie Walker y Black & White.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, a nivel mundial las ventas aumentaron 5.8% a trav\u00e9s de un crecimiento en las categor\u00edas premium.<\/p>\n

\u00bfCu\u00e1nto cuestan?<\/h2>\n

Con el fin de que las ventas repunten, las nuevas versiones de Johnnie Walker y Buchanan\u2019s estar\u00e1n m\u00e1s \u201caccesibles\u201d.<\/p>\n

Se trata de productos de 200 mililitros,<\/strong> es decir, botellas peque\u00f1as para que no resulten tan caros.<\/p>\n

En el caso de Johnnie Walker Etiqueta Roja<\/strong>, su precio es entre 89 y 99<\/strong> pesos, mientras que el de Etiqueta Negra y Buchanan\u2019s 12 a\u00f1os a 199 pesos.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Erik Seiersen, director de Diageo M\u00e9xico, estaban conscientes de que las ventas no estar\u00edan bien este a\u00f1o, pero aun as\u00ed quieren mejorarlas.<\/p>\n

\u201cSab\u00edamos que en el primer a\u00f1o de cualquier gobierno hay una desaceleraci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica\u2026Por eso estamos lanzando whisky de bolsillo\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Estas versiones de whisky las comercializar\u00e1n en m\u00e1s de mil tiendas de mayoreo en las pr\u00f3ximas semanas.<\/p>\n
