compra Air Europa y va por liderazgo en Europa y Latinoam\u00e9rica"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El sector a\u00e9reo en Europa tendr\u00e1 un cambio radical, pues Iberia compr\u00f3 Air Europa y as\u00ed International Airlines Group (IAG) se convierte en un gigante.<\/p>\n<p>Con ello, controlar\u00e1 el 60% del tr\u00e1fico a\u00e9reo en Europa y el 26% en Latinoam\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n<p>La compra de su tradicional archirrival en el mercado espa\u00f1oles por 1000 millones de euros.<\/p>\n<p>En Espa\u00f1a, Iberia tomar\u00e1 el control total del gran hub de Madrid-Barajas.<br \/>\nMientras queen Latinoam\u00e9rica reforzar\u00e1 su liderazgo en las conexiones con Europa, donde la compa\u00f1\u00eda a\u00e9rea del grupo Globalia tambi\u00e9n hab\u00eda emprendido un ambicioso plan de expansi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed, IAG suma una enorme cartera de aerol\u00edneas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Iberia (tambi\u00e9n su filial low cost Iberia Express)<\/li>\n<li>Vueling<\/li>\n<li>British Airways<\/li>\n<li>Aer Lingus<\/li>\n<li>Aire Europa, de Globalia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Al absorber Air Europa, Iberia conseguir\u00e1 disparar 50% sus ingresos por tr\u00e1fico de pasajeros y su matriz IAG lo har\u00e1 en 10%.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n asume la flota de 66 aviones que tiene Air Europa.<\/p>\n<p>Las partes conf\u00edan en cerrar la transacci\u00f3n en la segunda mitad de 2020, cuando el acuerdo sea aprobado por las autoridades del mercado europeo.<\/p>\n<h2>Fortalecen hub de Madrid<\/h2>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, se espera que esta operaci\u00f3n fortalezca al aeropuerto de Madrid como uno de los principales centros de conexiones a\u00e9reas (HUB) de Europa y el principal punto de conexi\u00f3n a\u00e9rea con las rutas de larga distancia a Am\u00e9rica Latina y Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/l21.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/air-europa.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-40112\" src=\"https:\/\/l21.mx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/air-europa-1024x577.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Javier Hidalgo, CEO de Globalia, envi\u00f3 un comunicado a sus colaboradores tras anunciar la venta a Iberia.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cEste acuerdo permite que, una vez consumada la operaci\u00f3n, Air Europa se incorpore a un grupo s\u00f3lido, integrado por cinco aerol\u00edneas que han crecido y mejorado su rendimiento dentro del grupo, y que se han beneficiado de todas las oportunidades que el grupo les ofrece, de las que tambi\u00e9n se beneficiar\u00e1 Air Europa, cuya marca continuar\u00e1 operando dentro de IAG de forma separada, sin integraci\u00f3n de su plantilla en ninguna de las restantes aerol\u00edneas del Grupo IAG\u201d.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Aclara que hasta la obtenci\u00f3n de las referidas autorizaciones, Air Europa y las aerol\u00edneas de IAG seguir\u00e1n compitiendo como hasta ahora.<\/p>\n<h2>En Europa y Latinoam\u00e9rica<\/h2>\n<p>En Latinoam\u00e9rica, Air Europa se est\u00e1 haciendo cada vez m\u00e1s fuerte y promete hacer crecer las plazas en un 25% de cara a 2020.<\/p>\n<p>De hecho, tiene prevista la apertura de seis nuevas rutas y el aumento de las frecuencias en algunas ya existentes.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, Air Europa va hacia Chile y M\u00e9xico, pero su aterrizaje en el primer pa\u00eds no se esperaba hasta 2021 y para Ciudad de M\u00e9xico a\u00fan no hab\u00eda fecha
