En Chiapas, un ind\u00edgena demostr\u00f3 que cuando se quiere, se puede. Es un ejemplo de emprendedor que incluso sali\u00f3 adelante, a pesar de las limitaciones en su pueblo.<\/p>\n

Su nombre es Alberto L\u00f3pez G\u00f3mez y tiene una l\u00ednea de ropa artesanal llamada K\u2019uxul Pok.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Lo m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil para \u00e9l al iniciar en esto fue el luchar contra corriente, porque en su natal Aldama, Chiapas, tejer no es para hombres.<\/p>\n

Contra viento y marea<\/h3>\n

En ese municipio del sureste de M\u00e9xico, con habitantes de la etnia tzotzil, los hombres deben dedicarse a la agricultura.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, \u00e9l no hizo caso a las cr\u00edticas y limitantes y sali\u00f3 adelante. Aprendi\u00f3 a tejer el telar de cintura y se dedic\u00f3 a crear hermosos dise\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

Dej\u00f3 atr\u00e1s los estereotipos y ech\u00f3 a volar su ingenio e inspiraci\u00f3n, transform\u00e1ndolos en huipiles, vestidos y bordados que ya le est\u00e1n dando la vuelta al mundo.<\/p>\n

Genera empleo<\/h3>\n

Y lo mejor de todo, es que cre\u00f3 un negocio en el que da empleo a varias mujeres ind\u00edgenas.<\/p>\n

Son alrededor de 150 mujeres tejedoras que le ayudan a crear las prendas y tiene un cat\u00e1logo extenso de dise\u00f1os t\u00edpicos mexicanos.<\/p>\n

Su historia es ya mundialmente conocida gracias a una asociaci\u00f3n alemana de derechos humanos en M\u00e9xico, que le hizo videos y lo dio a conocer al mundo.<\/p>\n

Gracias a eso, Alberto, ind\u00edgena tzotzil, dar\u00e1 una charla en Harvard y participar\u00e1 en la Semana de la Moda en Nueva York 2020, donde compartir\u00e1 su experiencia.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed que hoy Alberto se siente muy orgulloso de ser ind\u00edgena, chiapaneco, hombre y exitoso emprendedor.<\/p>\n
