Fernando Rivas, Gabriela Martinez<\/p><\/div>\n

Con una inversi\u00f3n\u00a0 estimada en 70 mil d\u00f3lares, el hospital Amerimed Canc\u00fan increment\u00f3 su oferta de servicios con la apertura de un Centro de Rehabilitaci\u00f3n F\u00edsica, con el prop\u00f3sito de brindar atenci\u00f3n integral de rehabilitaci\u00f3n temprana a pacientes hospitalarios y externos.<\/p>\n

Fernando Rivas, director m\u00e9dico, explic\u00f3 que la inversi\u00f3n, que tambi\u00e9n incluye una farmacia para uso externo, respalda la gama de servicios m\u00e9dicos y hospitalarios que ofrecen desde el 2001 en Canc\u00fan y que a la fecha suman 40 especialidades.<\/p>\n

\u201cNuestros indicadores se\u00f1alan que de un\u00a0 universo global de poblaci\u00f3n, el 40 % requiere de alguna forma de rehabilitaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica, mientras que un 20 % de pacientes hospitalizados la recibe como parte de su recuperaci\u00f3n\u201d, coment\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Explic\u00f3 que el Centro, adem\u00e1s de contar con el equipo necesario para realizar terapias f\u00edsicas y de rehabilitaci\u00f3n, cuenta con la atenci\u00f3n de dos licenciados en Terapia F\u00edsica, avalados por el West Point Physical Therapy Center. En seis meses esperan alcanzar 10 sesiones diarias para pacientes externos.<\/p>\n
